ok to add to all the updates that happened on 06/26/2010. my I-485 and I-765 also was touched. It appears more like a system problem (similar to the one they had quite sometime ago) or they really took some action on some specific kind of applications.Wait and watch game continues..

Hi guys,

I was just wondering... When you guys got your VAWA package together, did you have all the documents perfect, yet they still sent you a RFE for the same documents, or were your ddocuments missing and they sent you a RFE?

I jsut want to see how competent these people are because I spent 2 months night and day preparing my package addressing every detail possible for the Vawa. My declaration is 27 pages long... I have photos of the abuse, Psychiatrist letter, letters from my doctors , hospital records, my lease agrrement, car, insurance, declarations from freinds and family that were notarized... You name it, I have it...

I don't know what else they could possibly ask for because I don't know what more I could add to this packet.. the suspense is killing me

I did not get any RFE yet, but I would like to hear you guys input just in case..

Thanks guys

Tuna , the form i-360 should be filed together with required documents of . residence evidence jointhly - good faith mariage - check backgroung from everyplace or every address you live befor every county :) - eveidence of abuse ..any eveidence you feel can help you to prove abuse - the affidavit or the statment should be dated and notarised also careful from date to be corect of every events of the story - the pictures of injuries should be dates without date on the pictures or eveidence all the pictures for every evedence or document ,i say every documents and every picture or every statments everything should be date .

picture of injuries not dated will not accepted and will not help you to show abuse even .the pictures of injuries or damaged properties or destroyed fonitures without date is not accepted and will not serve your petition as evidences .

you should get help from free association .you cannot do it by your self and dont listen to people on here saying everyone can do it by self is easy NOOOOOOOOOOO is not easy is horrible is terrible you cannot .ITS NOT EASY AT ALL .people come here and said is easy and you can do it by your self ,there are just want show some bones .you cant and most of the people file it with attorneys for free .you just need to colect the evidences required .you should put everything right .the RFE is good because after filing you know what is missing that why you should respond to the request for evidences .

YOU HAVE NO ADEA WHERE YOU ARE FOR FILING THIS KIND OF PETITION .TRUST ME I AM IN NIGHTMARE 4 YEARS and 3 months fighting i have Strong eveidence .two police reports .pictures of injuries and tape recorder of spouse speaking dirty and badely including pictures of damaged LIPS & fornitures and properties also 13 affidavits from witnesses all of them CITIZEN .

you should wait .you just file it .dont think you are waiting for long you just start 2 months .how about me 4 years .and some people 20 years and stil waiting for green card .take your time and relax .i say you should have the long breath .its complicated petition .the statment of 27 pages will hurt your case because the second statment you should write same things and same dates .if you say somethings dont say the opposit on other statment .that is called discrapancies and disconsistancie .that mean uscis will say to you you are lie .if you say your spouse hit you 3 times you should always say 3 times .also dates must be corect .VSC take long time to look for errors to deny the whole petition is there priority and there job to find that you are not elligible .RELAX DONT TAKE THIS KIND OF PETITION so fast .

the processing time 5 months .if you get RFE will be 10 months to 1 years .read good everything on the forum .

it aint about how hard you hit .its about how hard you can get hit and how much you can take and keep moving forward even broken

Hi mulanjohns, do you know if i can request for a swahili speaking interviewer? how did you do it?

Unless u want a translator, I do not think you request for someone just like that. I guess it was my lucky day. Heck, I was shocked. There is a handful of E. Africans in this city, then bam, the IO speaks my native language. I think it worked in my favor too, he knew my hometown big time.

I think what happens is that USCIS sends the files to ur district office, and their supervisors schedules who interviews who. They will try to get someone from your region if she/he is available. I also think they try hard to find s'mone who is alittle familiar with ur original home. He my not be from you country but has an idea of that area.

This guy knew my village...lol.

Usitie shaka, they will not ask anything from the clouds. Basically all the NO stuff on I-485, right after swearing u in.

Hi munda,

What kind of RFE did you recieve? Good faith? Good Moral?............... Please give us a better Idea..

Tuna

Today, I received my I765 RFE notice, only requesting 2 passport pictures, along with copy of my passport. While filing my applications jointly, I only submitted 2 passport pictures, whereas 4 are required (2 for I485 and 2 for I765).

I have mailed my response today by overnight mail, so hopefully this RFE will not cause too much delay.

How soon the fellow members have heard from USCIS after submitting their RFE response?

04/21/10: Filed and mailed under VAWA, forms I360, I485, I765, I131

04/22/10: Packet received by USCIS Vermont Service Center

04/27/10: Receipt notice sent for I360, I485, I765, I131

05/06/10: Prima Facie notice sent under I360 application

05/24/10: Biometric appointment at Application Support Center (ASC)

05/25/10: I485 application touched

06/24/10: I765 and I131 applications touched

06/25/10: I131 approved and notice sent, I765 RFE notice sent

06/26/10: I485 and I765 touched

06/29/10: I765 RFE notice received (requesting 2 passport pictures), RFE response mailed by overnight mail!

Yahya54,

I really understand ur frustrations but be strong and have faith. Mine took 19 months to be approved, I had filled in august 2008 and got approved in march 2010. They had send some prima facie saying they will approve in 60 days but was past due by the time i got approval notice. My approval notice came in march 10th 2010 but it said they had actually approved in january 25th 2010. I can't really advice you about their system but I can give u hope to hang in there.
