Thats very true Kwala, because after my i-360 approval notice, i recived a letter stating that my case was put on deferred action. Thank you for ur comfort. sometimes I feel like am ok then i get scared. so Kwala u mean they will not hold me hostage when i go for interview? pls just say it again so that i can feel better.

Usibabaike dada. You will be fine. No one will confine you, infact do not let the attorney take you (and charge you) for the 5 minute interview. Like Kwala has said, USCIS cannot approve your I-360 if there is something amiss. Remember, they run all checks, FBI, ARREST RECORD BE4 THEY OK.

The issue of your husband having had a wife: U got I-360 because you genuinely believed he was marrying you, that is what qualified you. Even if he hid the documents afterward, or was not divorced, as long as you were not aware, and genuinely believed u were marrying him, you qualify.

I-485 interview will basically be the questions on that form. The IO may try to lead you into talking about the whole thing, which he should not, but do not go there. Just answer the ones he asks precisely.

I was interiewd in swahili by an American married to a Tanzanian. It was hillarious, he spoke better swahili than me. Ati una mpango wowote kuwa gaidi, what is gaidi?

Thanks for your reply. I have received RFE for my I765 (EAD) filing, which was filed together with my I360, I485, I131 application. I am waiting for the actual RFE notice to arrive in mail this week. However, I will appreciate if some of the fellow members can share their experience regarding RFE received for I765, when filed together with I360 VAWA application. What USCIS usually asks as evidence in I765 filing?

10/01/2009 - Package mailed with I-360, I-485, I-765

10/03/2009 - Package received and signed by INS at VSC

10/06/2009 - Receipt issued for each form

10/11/2009 - All applications touched

10/14/2009 - Prima Facie issued

10/19/2009 - I-765 APPROVED EAD card mailed

03/04/2010 - I-360 touched

03/12/2010 - RFE for I-360 issued, due before or by 06/06/2010( For ABUSE)

05/06/2010 - Response to RFE for I-360 mailed

05/07/2010 - RFE package received and signed by INS at VSC

05/09/2010 - I-360 touched, processing resumed, decision or response in 60 days!

05/22/2010 - I-360 touched

05/23/2010 - I-360 touched

06/24/2010- I-360 APPROVED

6/24/2010- File forwarded to NBC for Standard Interview.

6/26/2010 – I-485 Touched.

Wouldn't it be nice if we ALL got approved?

habari zako ndungu mkenya? Am soooooo shaky when i think about the deportation order. Jamani ule laywer wa kwanza kanitenda mabaya! Uhamiaji si mchezo! I have been praying God trusting he will do his will on thursday 7/1/10. Asante kwa ur comfort hoping when i go there my face wont look that scared. God Bless u all.

NO NOT AT ALL ARE YOU CRAZY !!!!!!!!!!!! . please read what defered action said .15 months to stay in united states and you are here for apply for adjust status .No one Can stop you IS resky for them .5000 $ FINE to any officer disclouse your information or trying to report you to ICE .this kind of petition is difrent most of uscis employees cannot even talk to you on the phone about it because is against the law .you are fine .i know is just you need to pray and trust your self .you should be scared only from ALLAH (GOD ) .

It was a pleasant surprise when checking after so many days but now the curiosity is making me nervous and killing me. My abusive spouse continues to harass me! I feel sooo suffocated. Why won't he just leave me alone!! God, please help me get rid of this monster and move on with my life peacefully. I am a lone traveler in this journey of life and only have you to look up to and talk to God...

About the deportation order; that is what the 'deffered action' took care of. It means that immigration stopped trying to get you out, hence the deffered action. U are no longer their priority.

Trust me, they love to read that, what with 12 million illegal immigrants to handle. They like one off their hands.

I think now its sinking inside me. Am feeling much better if deferred ction stopped the deportation order. Thanks alot guys for comforting the needy.
