One more thing...

I guess most of you got this stupid letter from vermont saying that the case has been delayed as there are other files in another office being transfered to vermont, and thats why they have to put the case on hold...

Could this be that they are just adding new info from my old I-485 to my new I-485? My old I-485 was not tocuhed since february of 2010...

OMG I am SOOOOO frustrated with these people... But whatever the outcome is.. I know it's what God wants.. and I cannot complain.. At least we are here.. we have the air in our lungs and our health...

I hope all of you get approved very very soon... I am new here but already I feel a connection with all of you..

Good luck espcially to Kymber and Coulours... You guys applications got touched today..

Kwala... I feel like you have the most experience and suffering here... what do you think? Good or Bad?

Thanks my new family

hi is good signe .dont be stressed .is good signe always when you see toush on your i-485 is mean something new is added on your record .that mean you are protected now if the ICE check your A# they will know that you are fine .the touch on your i-765 is just temporary but some information should be there too .but your i-485 the new one is your A# file for ever .remember now you are in process and vawa can take just 3 months .the process become so fast than anytime befor . but i am sure that the touch on your i-485 and i-765 is mean .you are elligible .they put it on your A FILE .when the i-360 is approved the officer should put that information on your file befor send you approval because its the uscis law .the approval show up less than 30 days after i-485 touched .my i-485 was touched on 07/13/2009 and got approval on 08/11/2009.

the approval of i-360 is CONNECTED with i-485 is your AFILE NUMBER ,IS YOUR RECORD .No uscis officer can toush your file Only after having permission to do so .w:no:e are talking about VAWA even USCIS officers they cannot access to your information .Because is SECRET PROCESS ,and some workers of USCIS HOMELAND SECURITY also maried and abuse there spouses .that why they cannot access to evryone information .

just have peace of mind if someone looks denied i will say that .but i am sure 100% that colours and kumbers and yahia is approved already now take time for other offices to update information in there systeme .just asking that everyone should be patient and talking polite with any employees of uscis .

it aint about how hard you hit .its about how hard you can get hit and how much you can take and keep moving forward even broken

TO everyone make sure .

USCIS cannot approve your i-765 employment authorization card without touching your i-485 .that MEAN they Cannot approve your I-360 without touching your I-485 . ANY TOUCH mean ACTION and action MEAN something Good must go into your I-485 A# . many people asking uscis for action but they say NOOOOO . WE SAY WHERE IS FROM THIS BABY =I-360 .from this mom I-485 . where come from this fruit i-360 .is from this three i-485 .always a conection .you cant get FRUIT without three .and everybabe should has a mom .in the case of i-360 denial .uscis will not touch your i-485 .the denial will be send right away EXPRESS FEDEX MAIL for BOTH THE SAME DAY .i-360 and i-485 Denial Notice Sent. file an appeal form i-290 b for each denial in 33 days or this decision is final . mean should file two difrent appeal one for i-360 and other one for i-485 .

COLOURS AND KUMBER22 AND YAHYA .PRAY TO ALLAH ( GOD ) .I PRAY A LOTS AND GOT APPROVED .My case was Complicated .Attorneys NOT ACCEPT IT . haha

I am new to this forum but thank God cuz i found it at last. Am glad to join you guys. Anyway i have been reading through some stories here and i could not wait to tell mine.I was married for 4 years by a USC who had married two other women and had not divorced either. This made him to be a polygamous man which is illegal in US. He was kind of abusive but i did not pay much attention at all but luckly one time he had hit me so hard and treatned to kill me. That day, i had called police cuz i was upset and scared. I did not find out about the other marriages until we went to the interview for I-485 & I-130 in 2006. They later denied our application and the letter said they "assume that i entered in a marriage fraud 'sham marriage' knowingly". My case was taken to imm. judge and removal proceeding started real first. The lawyer i had told me the judge will not deport me cuz i didnot commit marriage fraud. But to our shock the judge ordered me deported. The lawyer had filed for appeal for i-130 then he filed another appeal for deportion order.

Then i decided to see another laywer immiadetly who advised to file i-360 with all my prove. I filed i-360 and was approved. Then i filed another i-485 & EAD. They approved my EAD and i have an interview date on 7/1/10. Am really scared becoz i had deportation order. Do you really think they gonna deport me? or what gonna happen at the interview with all these problems. please help me friends esp. Kwala with all that research you have done, what do you think?

These are my case dates:

feb 2004- married to USC

march 2005- filed i-130,i-485

april 2006- interview

feb 2007-denied i-130 &i-485

august 2007- immi. judge (case postponed)

august 2008- deportation order

august 2008- filed i-360

sept 2008- ist prima facie

sept 2008- RFE (good moral character)

march 2009- 2nd prima facie

september 2009-3rd prima facie

march 10 2010- i-360 approved

march 25th 2010-filed i-485 & EAD

may 21 2010- EAD approved

may 26 2010-finger prints

may 27 2010- interview letter 7/1/10

Everything is ok ---.if you are not elligible? .vermont service center will forward your i-360 to djudge handle your proceeding court and will not accept it .if you read some exemple here you gona see VSC not accept there i-360 .and will not issue you prima facie ( if the djudge see prima facie will not talk to you )that prima facie mean preapproved .mean .first grant of defered action mean stay of deportation to continue the process of your status .mean you istablish and you are found to be a victim of violence in the hand of usc spouse .

you are fine just go to interview the oficer will ask you the 20 Question if you ever arested that all .

it aint about how hard you hit .its about how hard you can get hit and how much you can take and keep moving forward even broken

Dear Fellow Members:

I am new to VisaJourney and this forum. Thank you for sharing information about your VAWA case, I have found it to be extremely useful and informative. Giving a brief overview about my situation:

I got married to my wife early last year (she is a naturalized US citizen). After marriage her behavior gradually became worse towards me, starting with verbal and emotional abuse, and subsequently 4 separate events of physical violence. During the course of our marriage, I realized that my wife has anger management issues and I tried to convince her to see a doctor, but it never worked. After the third event of physical abuse, I went to see a psychiatrist and sought advice regarding coping with the abuse (I was having difficulty sleeping, because my wife had hit me in the past, while I was trying to sleep), and the psychiatrist advised me to see a social worker, who can help me and can also arrange a joint marital counseling session. Before such session could be arranged, my wife hit me again and on that occasion I called the police. The cops gave her warning and left. However, soon afterward, my wife tried to commit suicide and I had to call emergency. At that time, the cops came along and called her parents and made her leave our house. Since that day, I have been living separately from my wife. I have tried to convince her and her family that she needs help controlling her anger, but nothing has come out of it. After almost 6 months of separation, I came to know about VAWA legislation and through a help of a non-profit organization, filed my 1-stop VAWA I 360 along with I485, I765, I131 at the end of April'10 (see my signature for time line).

Finally to my question: two days ago, I got an email from USCIS regarding request for evidence (RFE) issued for I765. I have read some of the pages of this topic, but couldn't find anybody else with a similar RFE request. Can anybody help me with what I should expect for the I765 RFE? I am really nervous and worried. Anyways, I hope to receive the RFE notice in coming week and will share additional information about it.

Thanks for your help.
