I am hanging in there, atleast trying, its now 16 months since I filed I-360, no RFE's, no touches, I don't know how to take that, whether good or bad, but like the saying "No news is good news" lol. I just wrote a letter to USCIS last week, they received it last Thursday, basically a letter to inquire about the status about my case, it's still not touched, I'm just a bit lost, just very strange that I haven't recieved anything, they just sent me a renewal prima facie last month for 150 days, it's all out of my hands, there's nothing really I can do at this point but wait, so yeah, that's my story lol.

Hi lostinnj, ewtn2009, biker4eva and everyone, i think i have good news, my lawyer received my EAC this morning, i'm on my way to her office to get the card. my concern is, USCIS has not approved my I-360, i have yet to send them RFE documents. maybe this is the reason why i did not get a 3rd prima facie. i'm very thankful to the Lord, but I'm not sure if i'm happy or worried.

good luck to all of us.

I really think it's a great news that you got your work permit approved  !!!!!!!!!! It means your records are clean, you could renew your driver's license for that time of your EAC is valid (in case you need it), you could get or keep a job (if you don't have one already). In the meantime you're sending those requested evidences and your case continues being processed.... Don't you think so?. I guess there is no reason to be worried about not getting your third prima facie  . because they're valid for few months and usually EAC is valid for one year. Isn't it?

I was reading this http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-ext-templating/...se%20or%20Child. USCIS asking for proof of residence with spouse. What did you all send?

I sent only proof for marriage in good faith:

-Birth sertificate of child

-Med. insurance from my work for both name

-He was my benificiary on life insurance

-Car insurance for both names

-Taxes joint for 2008.

I don't think i sent anything to proof residency with my ex.

Proof of residence can be anything with the address you both lived at with both names on it, letter addressed to both of you at the same address, sworn affidavit from friends and family saying you both lived there, bills with both your names on it and same address, insurance, things like that.

I filed I-360, I-485 and I-765 same day (March 2008). I got my employment authorization card on July 2008, valid for a year. I-360 is still pending. Since Employment authorization document should be requested for renewing 3 months before expires, I sent I-765 form requesting renewal two weeks ago , but I haven't even heard anything yet :(

Ok so I have a quick question, I am filing my I-485 and I-765, for the I-765, do I put ©(14) Deferred Action, or ©(9)? Remember my I-360 is still pending

it's not july yet, so don't worry, you'll receive it soon. did you have to pay $1010 for the i-485 & i-765? i hope my case gets approved before my ead expires. i hope all of our cases get approved.

I need a little help, I'm reading the instructions on form I-485, it's telling me to send my application to Texas service center based on where I live, isn't it suppose to be mailed to vermont service where my I-360 is pending?

Hello all! I just wanted to know if anyone knows if my mom needs to bring evidence (hospital records, emails etc) that was submitted during filing with her to the interview. Because in the interview letter it said bring marriage cert, birth cert etc that we already submitted. I understand that those will be returned at the interview as we sent in originals. But what else do we need to bring? Do they ask questions about the abuse, or what exactly do they ask during the interview? Our interview will be outside the US. Thanks

She was talking about employment authorization, she called it EAC-Employment authorization Card but the correct name is EAD-Employment authorization document
