Hello all.

I married my wife in January. She is in Indonesia.

We are preparing a form I-130 to file..it requires the G-325A. this led to a few questions....If any of you could help clarify, it would be appreciated. (the sample G-325A does NOT address my questions-so I am hoping you who have already filed could clarify).

** the box "City and Country of Residence for her Father"..........father is dead....is there some particular verbiage that is needed ? e.g., "deceased" or does uscis want to know where he last lived?

** the box "place of marriage" do they need a church name and city? or city and country?

** under "applicant's residence last five years" section....the sample G-325A form shows 2 addresses listed even though the first exceeds the 5 years required. question: can I list only one address if I have been there for more than 5 years?

** under "applicant's employment last five years" ... my wife does not have 5 years history employment (only about 4 years)....should the last year be listed as "unemployed" or list her school and her occupation as "student"

** under same area (employment)..the boxes for "month" are very small....what is acceptable designations for months e.g., November...can it be shortened to Nov. ? or filed with numbers ? e.g., "11"

** in box "this form submitted in connection with..." if checking "other" what is the correct thing to place here? e.g., "I-130 petition" ? the sample G325A form shows "I-129F petition" however I must file the 130 prior to the 129F

********* Thanks for all the help in letting me know how you guys answered these things. I would rather seek clarification from you guys than have the uscis kick a form back because it did not match their approved verbiage.

**

1) If deceased, all other information is N/A

2) city & country

3) Yes

4) Student

5) Either first three letters of month or numeric

6) I-130 petition

YMMV
