ssn print out?

Is it possible to get a print out of your number... before it gets mailed out to your address??

I applied for a social last tuesday... and I was wondering if somebody has done this... go to the office and try and see if you can just get a print out of your actual card

I need it for a job..

Applied for the SSN Dec 22, recieved a letter requesting copies of the marriage license and copy of the I94 Jan 23.

They had all the originals when we applied, they did not make copies, had to go to back again to have them make copies, do you not love efficiency, no government waste here.

Still no SS card.

You can't get a copy of the card, but once the application has been processed and the number has been assigned you can get an SSN Verification Printout. It's just a piece of paper that lists your SSN and name.
