30 Day Single Entry: $30

90 Day Single Entry: $115

If you are an American who has married a Vietnamese National you are eligible for the Visa Exemption. It is good for 5 years, BUT only good for 3 month stays. It's $20 for the first issuance and $10 for the second.

Issued herewith Decision (Circular) by The Ministry of Finance No. … Dated….

-First issuance of visa exemption certificate: 20 USD

-Second issuance of visa exemption certificate: 10 USD

You must have got the same guy I got before. I repeated his figures in Vietnamese just to make sure I understood correctly. Good thing, too. Some people say, "thirty" and "forty" so that they sound remarkably the same.

Here's a shocker. Another member called The Embassy and got a price of $65 for a Single Entry.

He sounded like I had interrupted him in the middle of a bowl of Phở. When I told him I was married to a Vietnamese Woman he loosened up though. He must have realized I was part of the family now. :unsure:

I sent in for my visa application to DC on Monday (just got it today) and here is what an email said before I sent it in:

  - $65.00/ EACH PERSON - $25.00 IS VISA FEE, $40.00 IS APPROVAL ARRANGEMENT AND REGULAR PROCESSING FEE AND THE TOTAL FEE IS $65 (REGULAR SERVICE - 5-7  BUSINESS DAYS).
  - $85.00/ EACH PERSON - $25.00 IS VISA FEE, $60.00 IS APPROVAL ARRANGEMENT AND RUSH PROCESSING FEE AND THE TOTAL FEE IS $85(RUSH SERVICE - 02-3 BUSINESS DAYS).
