Just a simple question. After filing your documents and being received by USCIS how long after did you receive your biometrics appointment? What I mean, to be a little more specific, from the date the 1st NOA was sent to you, how many days later did you receive the notice stating your biometrics appointment?

This varies by how busy your ACS office is.

A few weeks to a month or so after filing.

Biometrics letter is sent out from the ASC (Application Support Center)

So my husband received the first NOA the 26th of January stating they received his packet on the 19th and received another NOA the 31st stating his biometrics appointment. In your opinion do you think they are moving pretty fast since we received the first NOA and the biometrics appointment notice in the same week?

The ASC may not be busy, so a quick appointment, this is no indication on how fast NBC (Misouri) The center that is handling EAD and AOS is processing the applications.
