Tbf Pedroh, they pretty much are in the same category these days. Metallica are a pale shadow of the awsome outfit that I worshipped in the 80's, and I wish that shitty ###### "Black Album" had never happened. They've never been the same since.

As for the show, I didn't watch it. I only saw the last 4 mins of the game (and that only because I was in a pool, with crappy numbers so I didn't win ), I am not a fan of American football.

MDC is a west coast, mainly SF Bay thing. Clash works as a good band, though they are more ska than punk, not purists at all! And Joy Division? You lost me there!

It was't that bad. He was out of breath at times, and had trouble with some of the lyrics, but he finished well. Come on, man! That's the Boss! I have seen worse halftime shows, Britney's lipsynch show comes to mind!

I have been a Springsteen fan for a long time and have seen him in concert several times. The man is phenomenal. He's 59 years old and still has a ton of energy. I hope I can move around like that when i'm his age.....Oh and I recognised all the songs.

Wife got excited when I told her Bruce would be on the halftime show, what's a half time show? As a devout soccer fan doesn't even understand football, just said the same as soccer, but instead of kicking a ball to the goal, they plow their way through and instead of blocking a shot, they cream the guy carrying the ball. But the concept is the same, a bunch of grown men trying to move a little ball from one end of the field to the the other. She thinks the game is way too violent. Told her kind and gentle me was pretty good a smashing guys in high school, wanted to make a career out of it at one time, but didn't have a daddy to send me to Harvard so got drafted into the military instead. Got screwed out of the GI bill so had to work through college and was considered too old to play. Probably why I hate spoiled brat kids running this country, but that is a different story.

So we were switching channels back and forth, with 15 minutes in the second quarter, in soccer, 15 minutes means 15 minutes, in football, can take a half a day. But Bruce finally came on, she is a long time Bruce fan, she enjoyed it. I am a Beethoven fan myself, but somebody told me, he's dead.
