My MIL is leaving on Saturday...I can't believe the time flew by so fast and I'm sad she is leaving BUT not sad the shopping for all of Egypt is over. Dear god, we have been to every store known to man these past two weeks and she has almost made me hate shopping HOLD ON A MINUTE>>>>did I say that? *shudders* No, it was temporary insanity....I'm back... I LOVE SHOPPING (for myself)

U2 Annie! btw I know how you feel with Mom's and shopping. My Mom thinks I hate shopping but it's not that. It's that she drags me all over creation and back with little care for my agenda or plans as if what I want to do with my time isn't important. Plus I don't want to go to every Hallmark in town to see and compare the different things they have and the different prices they're selling the same things for.

We have been to Macy's (2), Marshall's (3), JC Penneys (1), Costco (2), Ross (2), Walmart (3), Target(3), Bestbuy(2), and every makeup counter on gods green earth...oh i forgot to add any sports/hiphop/dance store she could find for my BIL's and their friends...just kill me now Everything in parenthesis is how many times or different stores we have been to...I'm sure I'm leaving some out. I can not believe the amount of money she has spent on others it makes my head spin!

My poor husband is trying to help her pack her 900 pounds of things she bought right now I'm comfy in bed on my laptop He told me tonight...we are never ever buying this much ####### for anyone...except ourselves. Pays to just smile and keep your trap shut....hehe

As my dear friend Dani would say in his broken English..."NaaayVER Mami" (Never Mommy) I hope not. I think one gift for each person is fine but she's gone overboard as most do when they visit. Many of my friends have had similar experiences w/ their in laws too. Thank god I'm not footing the bill. Then I might would have more to say....I'm just sitting back and watching the frenzy.

Annie - how about them Cards!!!! Although they didn't win, they showed up - and that makes them winners in my book. I hear you on the shopping - we buy so much for when my hubby goes to Arg. or MIL returns - it is scary. I even buy Scott toilet paper - you know the 12 pack because TP is so expensive down there and it just dissolves in your hands. They love the Scott!!!

Your dad will be in my prayers...I'll pray some Hail Mary's for him.
