Never mind Englands snow its nothing compared to what we had in Kentucky. Trees and power lines down and about 170,000 lost power. A few inches of snow in England the country collapses.

They are talking about our inability to cope on the news at the moment. I agree though, we haven't a clue.

:wow: That's something for her kids to tell when they go back to school.

Teacher: Children, write a story about what you did on your day off.

Child: I got to see a baby born in my lounge.

Well, after singing the praises of Birmingham City Council yesterday, it would seem they're out of grit!!! It was a total nightmare today; first and second gear all the way in.

Seriously, how do you run of of grit for God's sake? It's not like it's a ###### precious metal!

I saw that on the news this morning! :girlwerewolf2xn: We are out in our village too.

I can't get out of my village. My car is snowed under. I walked to the dual carriage way, to find out what the scoop was and thats just as bad. No buses running. And no newpapers in the village shop. It's like judgement day in the local store. People are going crazy buying up all the milk and bread. :bonk:

I decided not to bother. I have only seen 3 cars all morning and they where skiding and sliding. Had I been in Chicago, it's a normal thing this weather and I'd jump straight in the Jeep!

I ended up taking my Mum's car to work as couldn't get mine outta the driveway!

Is your passport being delivered to work today? There is a reason to make an effort!
