hi budies,

lately i got that email on my uscis account as a new update:

On January **,****, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made.

my question is wht's this notice is all about? and wht's to expect next?

thanks in advance for any kind of help, that would be appreciated for sure.

AOS time line:

March 9, 2009... EAD ordered.

March 14, 2009... Received EAD Card.

March 16, 2009... AOS approved.

March 28, 2009... Green card received.

Might... I'm sure I've read reports of California transferees getting called for interview before now. It's certainly true though, some lucky people get approved by CSC without the ordeal of an interview. I was transferred there recently too so fingers crossed! :)

03/17/09 - Card production ordered (no notification received!)

03/26/09 - Green card received (196 days)

02/22/11 - NOA1 (received 03/03/11)

04/04/11 - Biometrics appt (notice received 03/19/11)

08/22/11 - * * * t u m b l e w e e d s * * * (T+6 months and counting)

09/20/11 - Service Request #1

10/26/11 - Service Request #2

11/29/11 - Interview @ Atlanta Field Office - Approved & I-551 stamped

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

yours got transfered on 1/29/09 and mine was transfered on 1/30/09 so we are on the same time line...lol

AOS time line:
