is K-3 worth the money and effort

Hello friends. 2 years back I had filed the k-3 along with the I-130 for my husband. his interview took over 8 months and interviews for CR were around 8-9 months as well. K-3 was a pain as we had to do the Adjustment of Status after he was here.

Anyhow, now my brother has recently gotten married and I wanted to know what is the status of K-3 vs CR. Are they running neck to neck or does K-3 save few months. i want the best option for him... so plz advice.

same timeline for both visa. Go for CR1 without any question.

Go for CR-1. If it wasn't for this site we would have went through K-3 as well, but after reading through and looking through timelines, we decided for CR-1/IR-1 and I will say it has been the best choice.

Also look for which service center your brother will fall into, compare the timelines of service centers, so you will know what to expect with i-130 approval.
