Hello! My husband just left for sea :crying: need someone to talk to he will be gone for about 3 weeks! Any ideas on how to lift my spirits?

Get some movies he doesn't enjoy and do other things he doesn't like. Enjoy a little separation time.

Didn't intend to to be mean at least on this thread. I'm more independent and have been single most of my life. It doesn't bother me to have a short separation. I would take advantage of the situation but you can't see any upside to being alone for a while.

Sigh....I wish I only had three weeks ahead of me.....

Read books, learn to knit, watch movies, hog the television remote, take up the whole bed, eat what you want to, don't wash the dishes if you don't feel like it, let the laundry pile up, eat sandwiches in bed.....do anything and everything you can, but do not think about how much time is ahead of you. I promise you that three weeks will be gone in a flash!
