Hi Mel,

We were discussing weddings yesterday with Andrews parents. It is going to be a small wedding. Now to set a date. We have 2 dates in mind, but cause it is short notice we hope we can make it on one of those dates.

This week we go ring shopping. I need to find me a hair dresser. Need to find out were to get the marriage license. Need to find a priest, a location. Tux for Andrew and Nathan and so much more. I am so lucky that mom, dad and granny are helping.

For me no one of my family will come :-(

Awww :( Jac I am sorry to hear that no one in your family will be able to come to your wedding. Maybe you can have a video tape made and send it to them. That would be a nice way for you to share your special day with them. There is A LOT to do to get ready for everything huh? We are also having a small wedding (only family) in the church and even with that there is a lot of preparing still. Hang in there!!

Edi, June is not too far away either! That would be awesome if his mom and brother are able to come as well. Although René's brothers will not be able to make it I was so excited to hear that his parents will be here. René will be arriving in March and our wedding will be March 30th. I cannot believe it is less than 6 weeks away! Does Pieter have any idea when he will try to fly over?

I hope everyone is doing well. :)

Best wishes,

Mel

When I read about all the wedding preparations and how much is involved in it, I am pretty happy with just having done the court wedding.....wayyyyy less stress ;) I do hope you will all have a wonderful day and that it will turn out exactly the way you want it to!....Oh yeah, and don't turn into one of those Bridezillas that I've seen on tv ;)

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Yeah, she was crazy.....but I've seen worse then her on that show. I always wonder how their husband-to-be's actually put up with it.....Ed watched an episode with me once and he said if we had planned a wedding and you would have behaved that crazy and obnoxious and rude like that, there would have been no wedding.....lol

UP!

Em,

Oh I do remember a bridezilla video chopin' out her hair hahaha OMG please noooo! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Mel,

Pieter thinks he will be flying on May 14th and we would have our wedding one month later, he needs a SSN for the wedding... So the date so far would be 16th of June. A Saturday so our few guests can recover

Last night I talked with my mother and she said that she would like to attend (I would love for my mom to be here!!!) but I have to tell her the exact date so she can fly from Puerto Rico with my sister. At this moment I am planning this wedding on my own but it's going to be a very small thing on the backyard of my friend's nice house.

Jac & Mel,

Have fun with the preparations and not too much stress ladiesssss (F)

Hope everybody else is doing good and that those waiting for approvals that they come fast!

Hugs

edi

Hi All :star:

I just got a letter from CSC saying that they received my petition and that they will review it. What bugs me though.....once again they spelled my first name wrong......unbelievable. On the letter I got attached to my EAD my name was spelled correctly (also on my EAD card), so I am asuming they finally changed it in their system and that this is one of thos pc generated letters that are on a different system or something, but it is annoying. Ok, I just had to ge this out of my system.....lol:lol:

On the job front.....I received an email from one of the temp job agencies to stop by on Thursday and to do a few tests (pc skills I believe). I also filled out an application at a compagny just 2 blocks away from where I live and they would be getting in touch with me by the end of the week. I posted my resume online on a few websites, but sofar that has only resulted in well.....weird job offers.....ah well.....

Take care all (F)
