Greetings! Sending a quick greeting and hope that we all have a great week. I'm really hoping we get packet 4 but I'm sure that it is way too soon. Anyway I hope that you get what you are hoping or working towards this week.

Rhonda

Hello all! :D

Well, our packet 3 is on it's way back to the Embassy-along with the checklist, so we should have an interview/medical date soon  It's all soooooo exciting!

Hope this week is good for everyone!

Em, when you get the chance, check in ( especially after Ernesto has passed over you there in FL), to let us know you are all OK!

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Hey Michele,

Good to hear that package 3 is all sorted now. Let's hope they won't send package 4 to the wrong address again though. Has Mark already booked a flight or is he waiting until he has got the visa in his hands?

Ed tells me not to worry to much about Ernesto, so I am trying to be all cool and stuff. We are ready for it though and hopefully it won't be too bad, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see. As soon as I get the chance I will definitly give out a shout on here after Ernesto has passed.

Take care all!

Em

Michele,

Glad to hear that you sent packet 3 and the checklist off. We had an interesting thing happen, another packet 3 was mailed to us last week. Wilmot, filled out all the forms and sent them back in. I told him it probably wasn't necessary. He didn't want to take any chances so he redid them. I keep hoping that we get the interview date sometime this week.

I have been trying to find cheap flights, but I don't seem to be having a lot of luck. Most flights are $800 us dollars. Do any of you have any suggestions.

Em I hope that Ernesto doesn't cause too much damage. It must be different living in Florida and having to deal with hurricane's. That would be a big adjustment for me.

Hey all!

Well, apart from lots and lots of rain Ernesto did no damage over here, so phewwwww about that.

We got our marriage license today, so we are all set for Wednesday now!

Rhonda are you trying to find a flight for yourself? Ticket prices are crazy right now it seems. I actually paid almost twice as much as what I would normally pay to get over here in July.

Did any of you guys receive package 4 yet?

Well, I am off for a bike ride now before the daily afternoon showers kick in.

Take care all!

While it seems like my wish at the start of week came true for all of us. We all had good news. Congratulations on the marriage license. Also CONGRATULATIONS ON OUR INTERVIEW DATES OCT. 3 AND OCT 10!!!!! I woke up this morning, and decided to check VJ. For some reason I didn't follow my normal pattern but went straight to the consular section. Whose post did see . . . .needless to say I started screaming. Then I called my baby, before he could say anything ... I said when is the date. He started laughing, how did you know? I told him VJ never lets me down. I'm so happy for all of us today. Have a great weekend!!!

Michele or Mark,

Did your package 4 have any information about the security/police clearnance? Em do you know when that part is completed? I feel like we might be missing something.

On another note Em I hope the wedding plans are going okay and wish you the best on Wednesday. Enjoy your day!

Please ignore my question about police ceretificate. After some research, I found that the embassy will get it for you if you live in the Netherlands.

Hope everyone has a good week. Em only one more day to the wedding. good luck and enjoy the special day.

Just to post a little update here as well. Harry and I finally sent out our I-129F and are now in the waiting game. We're expecting it to transfer (as they have been) from NSC to CSC. Oh well, cross our fingers and hope things go through easily.

Hope everyone else is doing well on their journey.

Em and Ed I hope the wedding was everything you have hoped and dreamed for!!

Michele, I'm so excited, I wish I could go to sleep and wake up on Oct. 3rd. I did something totally crazy. .. I purchased Wilmots ticket home today. I purchased for Satruday Oct. 7th and it was only $435 US dollars. He was looking over there and was getting quotes for 600+ Euros. My travle agent said we can change the date up to the day before. So I'm really hoping that everything works out so he is on the plane on Oct. 7th.

Arazia, I had posted in your orginal thread, but once again, glad you are in the offical loop now.

Hey all!

Well.....I am officially a married woman now :lol::thumbs: .

We had a really nice day yesterday. It was just the 2 of us but it was really special. Once all the rest of the process is taken care off we will renew our vowels in front of our family (which will take a lot of planning since everyone is living all over the place), but for now we have more paperwork to fill out and more waiting to do again (but at least now we are together :) )

I will keep my fingers crossed that both interviews will go well at the Consualte and that you can all be together with your loved one real soon now!

You sure found a cheap plain ticket Rhonda. Mine cost twice as much!

Arazia, hope the I-129 process will be a speedy one for you guys!

Take care all!

Em,

Thanks for the update! Enjoy the moment, it will also be special when you celebrate with everyone else. Thanks for the good wishes for the interview. Wilmot, has his medical appointment tomorrow. The strange thing is they first told him next Friday, but then today called him and said they had made a mistake. So we were scrambling to get all of the fee's ready, it throw us for a little of a loop. But it was fine, nothing is going to stop us now.
