I HAVE THIS FRIEND WHO NEEDS INFORMATION ABOUT VISAS. YOU COD APPLY FOR UR HUSBAND K3 VISA IF YOU HAVE A US PASSPORT. WHAT IS THE VISA CALLED WHEN THE PETITIONER HAS A GREEN CARD.....

A Legal Permanent Resident (green card holder) cannot petition for a K3 visa. They can file an I-130 that would eventually result in an IR1 visa but it will take years, not months. When they become a citizen, they can upgraded the petition and get it in line with other citizens' petitions. In the meantime, they wait for a visa number to become available.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

The F2A visa is an immigrant visa issued to the spouse and minor children of a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) of the U.S.

The V visa is a non-immigrant visa allows the spouse and minor children of a LPR to travel to the U.S. while they wait for the processing of paperwork.
