What happened to TheBears (Kari)? Did she go to Thailand? Is she in hiding or maybe just too busy to post anymore.

Aww! blush.gif I didn't go anywhere as far as Thailand. Just down to the beach for a few days without TV and the net. It was nice. Then I read Thai Rath and had a fit.

I'm sorry. I didn't forget about you, Rob. I'm still waiting for 2 of my girls to let me know what they think of your pictures. So far there are 2 Thai girls who say it's pithi man and 1 farang girl who says the rings look like a wedding. I'll call and hassle the 2 remaining into giving an opinion. How's Audy? Husby says Nakhon Pathom is less "sleepy" than it was, that there were a few people trying to rile others up but that's it. He has some business in Krung Thep next week, something to do with his application to be a judge; I don't want him to go at all.

Do you guys think the US Embassy in BKK will open Monday for Visa Services. I think so.

I don't think so. Last night Husby told me, "It's going to clear up today; wait and see." Well, you can see what happened. I don't think a weekend is going to make a big difference. Anyone keeping up with the embassy's Twitter?

Sorry but those embassy employees need to get back to work and start earning their money!! They get enough paid holidays in Thailand!!! Ya, I'd love to ask them on facebook if they are going to

give the visas and AP cases some extra attention to clear them out faster now that they have lost time.

Don't worry about the other opinions. I was asking because I didn't see you posting through this horrible mess and I was kind of wondering if everything was alright.

I posted a three pound package known as Packet 3 to Audy on Monday for Thursday delivery to her in Nakhon Pathom by Fed Ex. Well they are up already on Thursday. I was so happy she was going to get Packet 3 today. Well I tracked the package left Guangzhou, China, their Asian sorting center about 6 hours ago. I was expecting to see a landing or arrival in Samut Prakan, the airport any moment. Instead I am greeted with the information that FedEx has Suspended ALL pick-ups and deliveries to/from ALL parts of Thailand until further notice and No, I thought for sure they would drive to Nakhon Pathom whereas they might not drive in to Bangkok.

It is really crazy now that they are burning buildings in Mukdahan and other outter provinces. I have been to Mukdahan, why would anybody want to burn down city government buildings there?

Yeah thats what Im hoping too...knock out all the visa's quickly that have backed up. Although we are still waiting for our interview date...come on Thailand!!!!! :blush:
