Wasn't there a lady on here a few months ago, whose baby was approved, but she had to wait for a long time before she got her petition approved? Her husband was trying to bring them over, if I'm not mistaken???? Does anyone remember????

Speaking of attitude face...when I talked to my brother, he said that my 1 year old neice, who looks exactly like me, has acquired my attitude face. He said that she wanted something and he told her "no"...and she gave him "the Narina face" and he laughed and said he was calling her "Narina" for the rest of the time she was mad LOOOOOOL :lol:

But I have the same thing, my niece has same attitude as me

she in 1 year old too

and looks more like me then her own parents

It's amazing the resemblance in looks and character

The Arabs have a saying. They say, "2/3 of the boy comes from the uncle (the mom's brother)...and the girls come from the chest of their aunt (the father's sister)" It sounds much better in Arabic, of course. Yeah, my brother and I look alike. But her expressions make her look exactly like me. Everyone always thinks she's my baby when we go out together. She's very well behaved. I don't have tolerance for crying and fussing. When she's with me though, she doesn't really cry, thank God. She loves playing with my perfume bottles and going into my room. I think she's gonna be exactly like me. I hope she is. So does my brother LOL He always tells his wife, "I hope Sara turns out like my sister." I guess we'll see!!!

I figured I would share this with my K-3 family because you all have been there with me through this long, drawn out, grueling journey.

I received approval notices for my step-kids (actually they were approved yesterday). We filed for them in November 2007.

However my husband's case is still pending and "not assigned yet".

Wow!!! I know they usually put all family petitions together...I am going to be optimistic and say your hubby should receive his approval this week if they have just approved the Kids.

Please call USCIS / Senators to raise the issue and find out what the heck is going on.....I understand how frustrating calling them can be...but it needs to be done

I think it is a good sign that they approved the kids. I do know that they put the family members together. And honestly, I don't think they would approve the kids without the father. Maybe the adjudicator is just an idiot.

I don't think your previous marriage ahs anything to do with this case. You are free to marry 1000 NON-USC's if you want to. No worries.

I think this is your week. I kind of pre-celebrated today with my hubby. We drank a six pack of smirnoff ICE a little while ago.

That was for u to have really good luck this week.

You are right...you are free to marry a million times over...but in the case of immigration, if you have already had one immigration marriage, your second can take up to a longer time to be approved as they do extra checks. Ive seen it a dozen if not more times here.

YEah I have that too, I went out with my aunts and the baby today and yes they thought she was mine

She is born a premie so she is still not talking crawling or walking yet.

all do i think she will skip the crawling

She is pretty attached to me to the point my mom is jealous, no mater who has her she will always go to me

And I am the one to make her go to sleep when she gets cranky

hardly cranky with me

As for me I will miss he, when i go ti US

I told my brother keep her Passport updated so we can send for her

My husband adores her and is her god father

I really Hope you get your family with you soon. Visa in hand and all
