After NOA2 have questions for Cairo..

I need help from anyone that can answer my questions, as to what will happen from this point on, especially if you've had a K-1 and gone through the Cairo Consulate. I am worried about the DS forms and would like to fill these out myself, if possible, and send them along with everything else he will need from me for his interview.

1. When NVC gets my petition will they send me a packet and what exactly will be in it?

2. NVC will give us a new number and will this number be the same we will use from this point on?

3. Does the Consulate give us another number when my petition reaches them?

4. I've read about the DS forms having a barcode.. when he receives Packet 3, will the barcode on the DS froms already be scanned as his or can I DL the forms online and fill them out for him? If so, where would I find the current DS forms to DL?

5. Before he sends the forms back to the Consulate, he is to include his receipt from the Commercial Inter. Bank for $131.00, correct?

6. He MUST send the forms back by DHL only, correct? And he must purchase a prepaid envelope from DHL and return it with the DS forms, correct?

Did anyone send some of the proof of ongoing relationship with the req. forms they want sent back or just keep ALL of it for the interview? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

1- No the NVC will not send you a packet they will just send you a letter like the NOA1 says that they received your petition and they sent it to the USA embassy in Cairo

2- correct

3- No you will use the same number that you got from NVC.

4-yeah you can download them online and you can find them on vj or on the USA embassy in Cairo site .

5-correct

6-yeah just by DHL

just keep them to the interview cause they might send them back to him .

AS NECESSARY

COPY OF DIVORCE DECREE W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

COPY OF DEATH CERTIFICATE IF SPOUSE OR FAMILY MEMBER IS DECEASED W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

COPY OF MILITARY SERVICE RECORD W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

ORIGINAL POLICE RECORD W/ APPROPRIATE TRANSLATION

**DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY DHL ALONG WITH PREPAID ENVELOPE - IT COSTS APPROXIMATELY( 48 or 53 ) LE IN ORDER TO SEND DOCUMENTS AND PAY FOR THE PREPAID ENVELOPE .

** Thank you so much for the information. I've tried several times to go to the NVC thread and read, but I just can't get the pages to come up for me. I'm having this trouble with a lot of pages on VJ lately. I try to look for the answer before I ask them, but when a page won't come up I have no choice.

In my case they didnt send me this but i read and call before to cairos embassy asking about the package 3, so if they do not send this forms contact me i will give u the site for download the forms. I know about more people is having the same problem when they receive the package 3 cose is totally incomplete or just with the instructions without the forms or just with different forms like in my case.

i guess you was using the regular mail to send him your cards .but the USA embassy use a different delivery service ( DHL) .

if he never receives the packet 3 he will have to download the forms online and send them to the USA embassy in Cairo with the others documents .
