Visa question

We are sending in my visa application in March after I go there and plan to get married in November this year. Is this realistic or should we plan to get married next year.

To be honest with you I would not arrange anything until you get the visa, you just cant guarantee how long it can take

If all goes well then you should have your visa by November but it is not a certainty, I woud not take the risk of booking anything you dont want to be dissapointed

I agree - March to November is only 8 months and many of us are at the 8 month stage and waiting for interviews, if you are planning a big wedding and inviting family to travel you could be disappointed.

I concur with the other posters; you should allow at least 10 months from NOA1 to visa in hand.

Like the others said it's not really advisable to book anything until you are absolutely sure when you are leaving. I'm allowing a year between filing and the wedding just to be on the safe side.

Unfortunatly as others have already said it can take awhile to get the visa.

Best not plan anything until you at least have the NOA2 and your file is with the Embassy.
