I am having a person co sponcer with me they are a naturalized citizen of the united state. She has her passport but can't find there certificate nor does she know the number. She has in the pass done affidavit of support but then she had a green card. What can we do. Me as the primary i am a citizen and do have my number.

sent out 129f 8/10/08

received notification on aug 8/13/08

approved 12/15/09

received notice from NVC 12/19/09

still no package 1/21/09

Her citizenship # is same as her Previous Green card alien #.

Her us passport is as good as her citizenship.

She could also filed for the replacement of her Certificate of citizenship.

I check my old alien # and it is different the my citizen number.

also on the form it ask for the number or the a- #

If she applies for a replacement how long will it take

She can write "unknown" for citizenship number and simply provide a copy of all pages of her passport as proof of citizenship.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
