I know this isn't correct. I used to go to the store as a six year old and buy cigarettes for my brother and they cost ten cents for non-filters (Camels) and eleven cents for filters (Winstons)

Ah the good old days, I remember them well!!!!

I'm not old enough to say I remember them (I wasn't born yet) but it does seem like if you look at stats (and personal experience) things are going down hill (as a whole) with each decade.

For many, denial is sweet though.

What 'things' would these be then? I am still waiting to hear about the 'golden age' from which this steady decline can be recorded.
