If you fill in your 'timeline' you will get a VJ estimate of when you're likely to be approved, but its taking roughly 5-6 months at the moment!

Hi I have a odd crazy. My fiancee and I are going through the visa process with the K1. I noticed in your timeline in one part it says "touched". What is "touched".

Touched is a word that all VJ's use to say , that we had something done with our petition today .( That USCIS either looked at it , or moved it from one location to another , or is adjusticating your petition ). USCIS only calls it Updated not touched

No dont go by that .... Its not true. I filed my petion in oct and they recieved it on oct 22, 2008

and was approved to day by the CRIS. IT ONLY TOOK ME 4 MTHS HAVE FAITH

well im just curiuos the processing time shown on USCIS website is showing April15th 2008...so it mean people like us who have applied in Nov 2008 will have to wait for nine months..My fiance is in Iraq he cannot go to the phones tht often to call and check...so please if you have info about how long it takes frm NOAC1 to NOAC2?

wht USCIS has written is it true , or has there been people who hv go their petitions approved just like iam reading on VJ Website?
