Got the AOS Bill and Paid the AOS Bill. Waiting for my Employment Letter so I can send the I-864 package, and the wife is heading to the passport office in the next hour or so to get the Passport PCC. Hopefully the pieces come together next week

We are stuck with the employers letter

i figured we would have it by now but not yet

I fedex my police paper to my husband today

we don't have 2005 & 2006 taxes, because he was out of country so we are hopping it won't cause a problem

he is filling 2008 tomorrow with my signature and accompany paper getting there tomorrow

Mailed the I-864 package, now waiting on the PCCs from my wife, and the DS-3032 email to be accepted. Hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday.

We have everything ready for the IV package, but we can't send IV without AOS and that is the one that isn't ready yet!

So where are stuck

I thought you can send the the IV package, but the case would be on hold until the AOS package arrives. Funny enough, I'm not done with the IV pacakge, but the AOS is done.

This question goes to those of who who filed this year's taxes or plan to do so shortly. Since our spouses are not in the US yet, do we file as single or married filing separately? I tried calling my attorney, said he did not know and has to research it and to call back during the week... Any help would be appreciated.

Once you have your aos bill paid you can send the AOS

Well my husband is filling Jointly, I signed it and signed W7 and a notarized passport copy i send to him fedex

HE send them in together accompanied by our marriage certificate

Aruba is correct, you should file jointly, you will have to file a paper copy of your tax return, send it with the W-7, notorized passport copy, and marriage certificate.

The alternative is, you can file single, and then amend the tax return once you get your SSN. You would have respond in the interview if asked that your husband did it that way since he didnt have a SSN for you.

hey guys I am the agent for my wife's I-130 app. so now what will I need to do...

also I cannot send in originals to NVC(marriage cert., birth cert., etc) since I know we will need them for her K3 interview come early april...
