Hello everyone, I would like to join this thread also we were approved by USCIS on Jan 27 2008 for our CR-1. we are to the point were we emailed my wife's 3032 to NVC and are awaiting her hard copy of the 3032 and also my AOS bill. We have both AOS package and DS-230 ready for mailing as soon as we get the bills for fees and pay them online.

Hi guys,

For those of who emailed your congressman, at what point did you do it? It's been 205 days since we filed our I 130 (6 mons 21 days for us). Should we wait till we are out of the USCIS processing time on their website they are still on April 15 and ours was filed July 18th. How helpful was it to email the congressman?

I would appreciate any answers you can provide. Thanks!

well we were july8th NOA-1 and i called my Congressman on Jan.27th and told him we were outside the normal processing times for CSC and were unable to get any information from them so the lady in his office that handles immigration for his office called CSC for our case. this was early in the morning on the 27th and later that same night what ya know CRIS sends an approval email. I was told they wont really do much if the petition isn't outside the normal processing times but if it is they will usually help. OBTW if you have a democratic Congressman call him LOL. good luck

I emailed my congressman on Jan 30th at noon, and at 6:15pm I got the CRIS emails. I was going to be at 8 months on Feb 2nd, so I said why not let me give it a shot, and later that evening I got the emails. Don't know if it was a conincedance or if it was just lucky timing.

How are you all answereing Question 34 on the DS-230? I currently have it marked yes, with me being the one that helped my wife fill it out. Do you think that will cause any problems?

Hello guys! I'm joining this thread, ok?

My case was approved on January 23rd and on the 2nd of February we were told by NVC that K-3 papers were sent to the consulate and AOS bill was sent to my husband. We still haven't received the AOS bill neither the consulate's k-3 instructions package. I know for the consulate it may be too early. I have no idea how long it takes for the documents to arrive at the consulate after NVC sends them... But for the AOS bill it is really taking a lot! I mean, at least for us it feels like a lot. LOL! We're hoping to get it on monday so we'll pay it and move on! I wanna be in the US with my husband for Easter!!!!

I would wait a week or two, and then give them a call. It's taking most applications 7-8 months (of course there are the exceptions).
