I would buy Skin So Soft from Avon and apply it to myself. This is the stuff I use for mosquitoes.

Do the mosquitoes bite all day or just at night? That will determine what level of DEET you should look for in the repellent.

DEET-based insect repellents are available in a range of concentrations from5 percent to 100 percent. A 5 percent product will provide approximately 90 minutes of protection and a 100 percent product approximately 10 hours. The "effective" time increases as you increase the concentration of DEET.

I dont think any work that good, I have used Cutters. Im like you the mosquitoes love me, I have scars on my legs where they have bitten me. I tell you they say that Avon skin so soft bath oil works, the mosquitoes dont like the smell. I bought some but cant tell you the results until next summer. Good Luck!!!

They start their feast at night.I'm okay during the day.

I just got back from the amazon jungle and if your not too above it crushing termites and rubbing it on your body works really good. Mosquito's are attracted to sweat and carbon dioxide. Try to breath away from yourself and keep dry.

Avon also makes a specific insect repellent that I have found works great - mosquitoes love me too.

It is Skin-so-soft Bug Guard Plus IR3535. It is water resistant, hypoallergenic, unscented and has SPF 15 sunscreen. You can buy it by catalogue or at an Avon store.

I have the same problem in Vietnam. The all you can eat buffet starts the minute I hit the ground. Deep Woods Off is the best, but I couldn't find it there and you can't take it with you.

Do they check? India doesn't technically let you take it with you either but they don't check. We take it with us all the time. Deep Woods works like a charm!

Of course, a mosquito net at night is vital. You don't want to breate deet all night.
