Hi!

I am in Boston on a K1 and I finally married my fiance on June 3rd!:D(L)

My I-94 did expire on June 8th.

Now we finally got the marriage certificate and today we are applying for AOS => 5 days after the expiration date of the I-94.

Could these 5 days "illegal" stay in the US cause problems when applying for or using Advanced Parole?

We are planning a second wedding in Germany for summer 2007 ...

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dani

You complied by marrying in the 90 days period...right??

Applying for AOS after your i-94 expires is not a problem.

Marrying outside the period you were given... is...

You shouldnt have any problems with your AOS or AP for that matter.

Thank you!!!! :)

Yes, we got married within 90 days.

It just took a while to get the marriage certificate, so that we couldn't apply for AOS and AP within these 90 days.

I know that you definitely get into trouble with Advanced Parole if you stay longer than 180 days illegal in the US. But I was not sure what happens with less than 180days.
