I have looked through the guides on here and it doesnt seem to go into as much detail as it does with the initial process. Ok after you get the NOA2 it says in step:

8. Forms and checklist sent to Beneficiary.

What are these forms? how many/which of these need to be sent back and which need to be taken to the interview?

11. Medical prior to interview.

When does this take place?

Is it ok for the Beneficiary to go to the US on the visa waver during this time? we are trying to work out if we can prepare anything for these forms and get a better understanding of what is needed and not miss anything while in the US.

U S Consulate sends to the beneficiary

dependent on consulate procedures, the beneficiary probably needs to schedule

YMMV

You can book your medical with Knightbridge Doctors as soon as you have your LND case number

The will send packet 3 to you with the details of the forms that you have to complete they do not send you the forms you have to download them

they consist of DS230 Part 1 only need to fill in pages 1 and 2, DS-156 in duplicate but do not sign, DS-156K and DS157 for males aged 16-45, all these forms can be sent back, you can send the check list back later when you have all the other paperwork they have requested from you and the information from the USC

hope that helps

stinky monkey, thanks for the help.

im still a little confused about the next steps in the process. this site mentions packet 3 and 4. we have our NOA2 so now were are waiting for London to send packet 3? ... as you mentioned this is a checklist and a list of forms we need to download and fill in and send back(the forms you mentioned). an we download these now and have them ready for when we need to send these?

then what happens? do we get sent another packet (packet 4) with another list of items we need to fill in and send back? are these the letters of intent to marry and continued support, Affidavit of support and proof of ongoing relationship?

thanks very much for your help - we are just trying to get out heads around whats needed and if we can do any of this now to save time later and how important it is to be in the country when they send this? do you know if its ok for the Beneficiary to go to the US at this time. we are wanting to spend a month together, just trying to sort out timings of things we will be receiving in the mail and what is needed of us before medical/interview.
