How should we package our I-751?

My husband and I cannot agree on how to mail our package. He went out and bought a folder with acco fasteners, I believe. In any case, this is what he bought:

I think that we should use something like this instead, so that our copies don't end up with holes going right through important information:

What would be best? Any suggestions?

whatever you use make it organized but yet simple to be disassembled... they will take it apart and put it together there way...

They have suggested acco fasteners though but not required

They used to have instructions on the USCIS web site on how to assemble the K-1 package. I can't find it now, but it may still be there. Basically, ACCO fastener at the top. I put a piece of cardboard (folder) at the bottom of the package and clipped all the papers above it. On top was the cover letter with an envelope with the check inside on the very top. I wrote on the envelope what the submission was for and the amount of the check. Then I put a clear piece of plastic on top of the whole package. I also put little tape tabs (Post-it Flags) on the bottom and numbered them the same as my table of contents. It made a nice package.

Good luck with yours. I have read of people using rubber band, large clips, notebooks, folders, etc. I don't think anyone has been denied on how they sent their package. It would be nice if someone could find the page on USCIS and post it. Thanks.

It's my observation during my I-130 interview about 2 years ago. USCIS uses ACCO fasterner with two holes on top and brown color folders. So if you want to save them some time punching holes, then ACCO fasterner is your way to go. I think some of the staff that work at USCIS documentation might actually say thank you from the bottom of their heart if you do this for them. Just my 2 cents.
