I just wanted to share some good news with you folks... I just saw online that my case was approved 1/29/09.. I am so excited now on to the visa center.. :dance:

Mother filing for sister

USCIS

Mailed I-130 11/19/2010

Approved 03/09/2011

NVC

DS-3032 mailed

AOS fee bill generated

AOS fee bill paid

DS 3032 received

IV Fee bill generated and paid

I-864 package mailed

ds-230 mailed

case complete

interview date

Green card granted

Recieved Packet 4 (Oct,19)

Interview in Moscow(Dec,2)

made reservation for 9th of Dec!!!!!

Took almost a year for the process. GC recieved

03/05/2008 - Biometrics/Fingerprints in Portland/OR

10/21/2008 - Interview - PASSED

11/05/2008 - OATH Ceremony

I-130 for parents

11/10/2008 - I-130 sent

11/14/2008 - receipt from certifed mail

11/21/2008 - NOA1 date (had to call to get case numbers - never got NOA1)

02/17/2009 - NOA2

First of all, congratulations on your fast I130 approval.

I am also working on I-130 for my parents, they're in INDIA. Please let me know what type of documents you sent, cover letter sample etc.

Thank you all.. i pretty much just sent what they asked for on the form.. i filed for my mother, so i sent her birth certificate because her name changed due to marriage and marriage certificate because they wanted to make sure she was the same person on my birth certificate.. good luck to you..
