Congratulations Lucho!

That's one of the great things about CSC, they're awfully fast.

Diana

Hello everyone,

I was wondering do you think the police record that jessica has in good for one year. At least thats what she has told me the way its works in Colombia. She got a new one last year in March to look for employment. Do you think this is fine for the interview. Its mot difficult to get answers from the embassy in Bogota.Any help .

Thanks in advance

Carl

Hey everyone,

Hhahha, Ken that is a very funny picture that you found on facebook. Yes we partied but on a limited basis since EVERYTHING in SouthBeach is pretty expensive! So yes as I am writing this Adriana is enjoying the family life and my apartment here in Key West. From friday on we have been doing so many things and catching up despite being separated for less than 2 months. However Miami International Airport can scratch one point for being extremely tardy. They took forever to interview Adriana because they only had one agent conducting interviews despite having numerous offices in the vicinity. I had waited 3 hours since her plane touched down at the airport so I naturally got extremely worried and was doubting even the location where I was waiting at that Adry might be exiting elsewhere. Whew but finally she came out and all worries washed away and we hit up SoBeach and all of Miami. Got a nice hotel and ate a nice dinner there too, then the next day went to see Avatar :). great movie btw. Anyway guys just have hope at the POE and be extremely patient is all i can say. Now on to her residency and to S. Korea hahah.

Carl,

It is my understanding that the police certificate from the DAS has to be for immigration purposes. If she went to get hers for employment, they note it as such. That's why they always ask the purpose of getting the certificate.

I can finally report some good news- they approved the visa yesterday! We went to the window and the guy (different one from last time- I thought for sure it would be the same dude) just asked a few simple questions to Valeria and then said it was approved! I was at the window looking at the paperwork he had in front of him, and it looked like a checklist of things that was checked off completed. Looked like several AP things they must have needed to get before ending it. It was 8 1/2 months that it took from the first interview in April. I hope I will hold the Colombia Club record for AP wait , because I wouldn't want to wish that long of AP on anyone!

We were in Bogota from Wed. until today Friday (interview was Thur.) and back in Pereira now, and heading back to L.A. on Monday. I don't think it has sunk in yet, but I can finally say visa approved...
