Me on the other hand is chilling waiting patiently for the day. WHAt should I expect...any suggestions on what to bring, other than the obvious? and what is the embassy process...what to expect that day ;)

Hi Mayra

Have your hubby take a chill pill before the interview. Showing your love for each other (search this thread to my and others' interview recounts) will help if they are looking at you in the seating area while waiting- but don't assume they are... and dress business casual, not disco casual.

Other than that, expect the questions listed throughout this thread.

Much luck

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yeah, I know the whole process starts from the waiting area and on.... that's waht i tell my hubby to chill seriously b/c they can see all these nervousness...we have nothing to fear, its just a process that we have to go through, you know. But really wanted to get it from you guys that might have gone throught it so i can send it to him and he can just relax.

I think we have everything, just take lots of evidence....I myself will be at the interview....what a plus!!

really he has nothing to worry about ;)

thanks again...Mayra

Solo dile eso... anyway... tell him to take a novel to read (paperback) for the waiting because the coffee there isn't all that great.

Its all about what you have, and how you show it. Of course I am not talking about evidence, but rather how the two of you interact with each other.

Why the helldoes JOE have to wait 6, 8, 10 weeks to get his fiancee's visa approved it makes no F'in sense. Comin Bogota pull it together ..... Take care guys

That is the best deal. I spend between $5-$10 per week on calling cards.

I thought last night about adding on a second line through Verizon, and then delivering the phone to Leidys in Barranquilla in 3 weeks. Then, I could call that line for free (I think). Since I received free calls to my cell from the US whenever I was in Barranquilla.

Any ideas on this? Gracias,

Ken

There are free services that allot a certain amount of minutes per week to call Colombia. My wife uses it for calling my suegra. Can't remember the name right now though.

Hal, I will talk to Verizon about this and report back. It would provide us with a valuable resource - instant communication. Let me know of the free services your wife uses?? Thanks, I appreciate it.
