Thanks for the luggage question replies to those who did reply to me. I appreciate the tips. Now, he has to take a shuttle from JFK to La Guardia. Is there any tips on this? How can I be sure he knows what to do? I had no choice but to do his ticket this way as it was complimentary and we could not choose everything. If we could have chosen I would have selected another POE.Anyway, when things are complimentary it is worth some extra bumps here and there. So, anyway please pray he does not get lost. I am worried about him because I hate JFK airport it is too big!

Overall just happy that he is going to be here with me and excited to start our lives together under the same roof. This journey has taken so much out of us!

Good luck to all those waiting!

just wish he gets here safely.

its not a problem if he gets lost.lol

transformer...for the police certificate, it is true the validity written on the document itself is for 90 days (3months) however, the embassy considers it valid for 1 year from date of issuance.

i doubt it.because.we had to make new ones.

we got them for sending to NVC.and we got newer ones for embassy interview because the gap was was over 3 months from sending papers to NVC till the interview.

if you dont want to get send police certificates twice.

dont send then to NVC its not a compulsion to send police certificates to NVC,bring them to the embassy on the interview date.

make sure they are valid.

so,i suggest apply for them as soon as you get an interview date.

yes i agree about not having to send them to NVC, however if you did...like we did in feb/march and our interview was in july...NVC sent us a letter requiring a new one, though, i checked with the embassy and they said its valid for a year and they will accept it.

if the gap is a year+ then you surely need a new one, again, you are better off not sendin it to NVC
