Hi Sibtain

Waheed arrived in Chicago O'Hare on June 3rd. His experience with immigration at the airport went very smoothly. First he did his fingerprinting at the immigration counter and he gave them his packet and passport. Then he had to go to a room with 10 others and waited for his name to be called. He only waited a short and they called him. The immigration asked him a few questions and then told him "Welcome to America". They did not want to see his X-ray as the Embassy told him to bring it with him. They stamped and stapled his I-94 card to his passport. The whole process was less than 30 minutes. After he left the immigration lounge to collect his luggage it was already set aside for him to pick up.

Waheed is doing very well here. We are in the process of getting everything together to file his AOS. Gabby is almost two months old now and she is doing very well. We are enjoying being grandparents.

We both hope and pray you get your visa soon Sibtain.

Hey Guys,

So my wife finished the Packet 3.5 and delivered it to American express on June 18th, we haven't heard from the embassy yet as far as interview date. So i emailed the Islamabad embassy asking the status they said last they heard of this case was when they sent the package to us. That means the embassy hasn't received the package yet.

My wife called American express asked them if they received it and they said they forwarded the packet to the embassy already.

What should i do? Should i wait? if so how long is the process before i get notified by the embassy.

BTW my wife resides in karachi, we filed for K3 Process

Thank you for your input.

hi pakistani people.

hope you are all doing great.

i am new on this forum and need some information.

i am going to leave pakistan for usa on 10th of july.i have these questions please guide.

1.do we need any pictures with us at port of entry?(i heard someone saying we need some pictures at port of entry)

2.how long i can stay in pakistan after i get back to pakistan after getting the green card?(actually i have to come back to pakistan after getting the green card because i have to take care of property and have to complete two semesters of my study.i have heard some people saying its one year and some people saying its 6 months).

4.in case the answer is one year to the above question should i apply for re-entry permit?

3.do we need pictures for green card or we will have to go to an office and they will take pictures there like NADRA in pakistan do?

our case is F4(brothers and sisters of US citizens) my aunt applied for my mom and i and my siblings are derivative beneficiaries.
