Hi Everyone

UPDATE :star:

Called DOS today and the visa specialist told me that Waheed's visa has been printed and that we must wait for the Islamabad Embassy to call Waheed. Then she said "Congratulations":dance:

Why is Islamabad sooooo slow? We have been waiting forever for them to call and this is completely making us crazy  OK... maybe not forever but it sure feels like forever.

peace

~kris

Congratulations!! You are almost there!!!!

Guys!

Today i got an field investigation. The investigator was very decent he came to my work place.First met my boss and then colleague. Then he came to my home talked to my brothers and then he asked few questions from me.

He looks very satisfied and he told my brother that Sibtain is gonna get his visa soon.He said the same thing to me when he was ready to leave.

The experience was very pleasent.NO fear No pressure.

Ahhhhhhh.... after a long time atleast got some better relief.

Hopefull for myself and hopefull for everyone.

Very Cool Sibtain

That was Waheed's experience as well with his second field investigation. Very pleasant. And he told Waheed he would be getting his visa as well. I am so happy you are finally getting some action with your visa.

Good Luck Bro  and I hope this goes very fast for you. :luv:

wsalam afia Best of Luck for your interview.I think they are not letting USC spouses to go for interview, only people who has appointment letter can go inside the premises, that was the last thing I heard. But you should call and ask the consulate ahead of time and give it a try. Please share your interview experience.I am hoping for a june interview for my hubby.

Congrats to all who had their visas :dance::dance:

people we submitted the papers from the joint sponsor as the officer told us that the income of the sponosor was not enough and we were initially refused the visa.but now we have submitted the papers neccessary to remove the objections.

i want to know that

1.there was this one requirement that the affidavit of suport should b notarized but the joint sponsor meaning that the joint sponsor must sign the papers infront of the notary public.

can u guys tell me how important is this requirement ???

will they reject the papers or they might over look or they might do something else??

please share your experience.

we have two sponsors now and their income is far above than required but there is one problem that they havent paid the taxes for the year 2008 and obviously didnt include the copies in the affidavit of support

will the embassy demand latest copies of tax papers??

and one more question where is the visa printed for immigrant cases?

i remember my mom recieved her visa the same day she was interviewed but that was a non immigrant visa and almost 6 years ago.

please do reply to this

Waslaam Saran,

I hope you are doing well, I had my interview today and trust me i have the same issue with me, we just made the mistake by considering that we need to put two dependents in household size ratherthen three. anyways they asked me to have a joint sponser now, but yet we are not done with it.

wish you all the best.
