No yaar she did not get her visa. She was told to make her police certificate from Lahore and Kohat. They showed her a sample of certifcate "Ke aise banana hai". I was wondering if any of u could please scan and show me a sample of their police certificate? I will appriciate that. Ummm it's kind of confusing. She said the lady was about to keep the passport and then she looked at the police certificates and told her to remake them. She said she was asked to take an oath and told that her visa is approved. There is a pink sticker attached to her passport and they gave her a blue page that says to send back her police certificates and passport through AMEX. So many things at one time. I am lost. Anyone knows what might be the case here. I am very looking forward for someone to send me sample police certificate please.

Didn't she show the letter from the embassy to the police and requested a certificate for this specific reason?!

i observe many get it prior to getting a correspondence from the embassy for the heck of speeding up the process; which i think is not efficient!

dun worry or stress out, her visa has been approved once you submit the required docs, they will hopefully stamp it on the passport w/in no time!

i wish i had a copy of it to scan for you, but unfortunately it's w/my fiance.

hi brother, I think your fiance lived in both of these locations since reaching 16. Therefore, they are asking Police reports from two locations, Lahore and Kohat, which are very far from each other. Do u know from which city did she get her police report?? By the way, I have a friend in Islambad who is a lawyer and he has links in police, so if you have problem getting the Police certificate, plesae Pm me and I will see if he can help you. Yaar, sorry to hear that she didn't got the visa but after reading her experience it seems that the only thing standing between her and the visa is this police report and as soon as your provide it to the embassy they will provide her with the visa.

they are simply looking for the correct documentation of the police report. I wouldn't worry about this. you simply have to wait a couple of more weeks longer then expected but you are on the right track.

Well i got my police certificate within couple of days from lahore and they do ask you for what purpose ,it is also mentioned on the form tht you fill and then also wht they give you...it has to be signed by the SP...they didnt even see the cover letter....iam waiting one frm the present city that iam in right now...they didnt even asked for cover letter ...ahhh jst wondering if mine is right or not....soo confusing...

I asked it previously and iam asking again ...please if you could help me with the paper size for the forms, can i use the standard paper size in pakistan or it has to b American standard paper size[8.5''x11''].....please help ...what paper size have you used? if we have to use american standard paper size where can i buy it?

As long as you have the compelete accurate info, would the papersize matter??? i dun think they wuld have an objection to 'paper size' come on now !

Once she supplies them with the police certificates they will issue the visa. The pink sticker is what is referred to as a token and it references her case. Hopefully, it will not be too much longer and she will be coming home to you. Hang in there.

Rehan thank you very much for offering help, I think everything is going to be ok. Actually the certificate she got from Kohat, isn't the city that deal with too much of visa documents. That is why they gave her a simple letter with someone signature on it. Don't know how long it's going to take from Lahore but I have tons of family in Kohat, I do have people here and there. So they will get it done within hours.

I am sure that the process is over, but again the embassy is so picky about things. I got my own visa in 11 years (1990-2001). Thanks to ISB embassy.

Congrats to Shan, and b4byd09, it sounds like your wife's visa will inshallah get approved as soon as you get the documents in..

Man, my wife's interview for K3 is in 2 weeks, and while it seems positive as at least seemingly not everyone is getting stuck in AP, I'm just freaking out and trying not to be pessimistic, and trying to think good thoughts. Times moving too freaking slowly.
