As if this process hasnt taken long enough already...it is 1:45am in Philadelphia, 10:45am in Islamabad. I would have thought i would have heard from my fiancee by now as to how her interview went. hope to hear from her soon with good news as I have waited a long time for this...

Just got off the phone with my girl...SUCCESS!!! she said the interview was 2 minutes long, just asked where we met and a few other questions. Then told her that she can pick up her visa in 7 days at the American Express courier in Karachi. I will get more details from her in the morning (it as 2am and im tired) and post a review for everyone. Please note for those that have interviews coming up, she went to the Convention Center to catch the shuttle and there was no shuttle. Someone at the convention center said she had to go someone else because they moved the site from the convention center. again, when i find out more details as to where she went to catch the shuttle i will post.

Can u please find out whats the new location for the shuttle. Thanx

My fiancee has her interview on 30th. I am so freaging worried. I wish I was there with her. I hope everything goes wel.

My fiancee wasnt familiar with islamabad...only time she has ever been there was for her student visa 6 years ago. according to the american embassy website she needs to go to Diplomatic Shuttle Service, 3rd Avenue, near Quaid-e-Azam University Road, G-5, Islamabad. My fiancee said that sounded familiar as to where she just went. once you are close to the embassy they stopped their car and asked for ID and told them that they shouldnt go to the convention center anymore and directed them to the new stop. hope this helps.

Hi All - We got packet 3.5 from the embassy in ISL for our K1. Question is can we submit I-864EZ instead of I-134? Also how much time the embassy is currently taking to schedule an interview after packet 3 is submitted?

Thanks in advance! :)

For k1 u have to go with I-134, and I am sure they asked u to fill I-134 in packet 3.5 as well? Give it another 6 weeks until the interview date. 2 weeks to hear back from them and 3-4 weeks for actual interview date.

I have heard that the new I-134 does not need to be notarized. that will save u some time.

Did she get the visa? I was checking for an update and hoping to see your information.

we r waiting....=)))

good lucks brother!

No yaar she did not get her visa. She was told to make her police certificate from Lahore and Kohat. They showed her a sample of certifcate "Ke aise banana hai". I was wondering if any of u could please scan and show me a sample of their police certificate? I will appriciate that. Ummm it's kind of confusing. She said the lady was about to keep the passport and then she looked at the police certificates and told her to remake them. She said she was asked to take an oath and told that her visa is approved. There is a pink sticker attached to her passport and they gave her a blue page that says to send back her police certificates and passport through AMEX. So many things at one time. I am lost. Anyone knows what might be the case here. I am very looking forward for someone to send me sample police certificate please.
