We have sent that twice already. Once with I-129F petition, second when they asked for RFE. Do u think I shoudl collect some more? I have tons of calling cards, emails, gift receipts. Give me some names of the stuff I should be looking for at this moment. By the way thanks for the lucks. Respects.

Calling cards are no good, they want to see phone bills.

This is a new one; My fiancee got a call from Amex or whatever it is (visa center in Lahore) telling her that they have received her interview letter. Come and pick it up? Isn't that unsual? Why can't they send it home since they have her home address.

They call to pick up the letter.They dont send it at home adress.its not unusal.

Sibtain is correct. Waheed had to pick up his letter as well. Good luck with your fiancee's upcoming interview we will keep you in our prayers. We also showed airline boarding passes from my visit. Sibtain listed all the other things we showed and we had lots of pictures of us together and with his family.

Hey everyone hope you are all well! Zain sent the packet 3 off on March 4th. When should we hear back from the embassy? How soon after they get your packet do they start scheduling the interview? I am flying out with a couple other ladies from the Islamabad forum on the 28th in hopes to be there on his interview. I took off for 30 days from the job. Do you think his interview will be before or after March 28th and will 30 days be long enough time for me to be there with him in hopes I am there for his date? Please let me know you all, I'm a workaholic a mother of 3 young ones and can't get on here as much as some of you!

We sent our paket 3.5 on Feb 20th. Got letter from ISB yesterday (march 08) and our interview date is on March 30th. You do the math.

Cheapest tickets to Pakistan? Emirates is selling it for 1571 (including taxes and everything) and the fun part is its straight to Dubai and then straight to Pakistan 24 hour flight. I want to know if there is anywhere I can find more cheaper. I don't mind stops and stay. winx

I took Emirates when I went, and it was such a comfy flight, I know long, but so nice n they gave me a room in Dubai since I had a 9 hour layover. Forget expedia, but cheapoair.com has good prices i've seen...otherwise, if u can afford it, go with Emirates just coz the planes and the service are the best!

We sent our letter on Feb 28th and recieved the interiew date yesterday. They usually give you an interview 3 weeks after you recieve your letter. So my guess is that your interview date should be in between April 5 to April 15.

Also remember that they don't give your passport on the spot. They take about 2 weeks to provide you the passport with your visa on it. According to most timeline at VJ, your visa should be in your hand around the last week of April. good luck and i hope everything works out for you.

I have recently flown with Qatar airways to Pakistan. I really liked it. I was home in 20 hours (from DC to Islamabad). i remember paying about $1,450.00 for it.

Sorry, going thru a ruff time .... thats why dont feel like posting much ! Anyways, not sure bout the Medical fees( I think she paid 6 or 7 thousand rupees) As for the Visa fees, she had to pay 131$.
