those people who have got their immigrant visa:

how long did it take from the point of your interview to the point you got your visa in hand???

please do reply.

and what is is the usual lenght of time??

and those who needed a joint sponsor probably it takes more time for them but how much time usually or in your case?

Do u have any information regarding the same question about a family who has immigrated on F4 case.

beneficary male or female?

approx. time line depends on gender

most of the males go through Admin processing which on avg takes 5-6mons (after the interview) to possibly 2 yrs. No way of expediting your AP one must wait out.

Some females also go thorugh admin processing.

At times they verify the applicant's job, stds etc, other times marriage/relationship

This is AFTER the interview is cleared and all required docs r submitted.

Admin processing for name check is required for all visas n for all applicants, n males seem to take longer.

Also you r asking v broad Q.. plz narrow it to your situation.

Yesterday is history, Tomorrow's a mystery. Today is a gift; that'swhy they call it "the present".

hey bro...its sad to see that its not working out between you guys. but before you make a decision - make sure its the rite one. you guys already waited for a long time you dont want to go through with it again.

but then again i do remember you saying that your relationship was shaky even before your fiancee got here. it is your personal issue.

you have been very helpful in giving advice here. and i hate to be giving you this type of advice in return. but since you asked ... i read on this site some time ago that you can withdraw your k1 by writing a letter to the uscis.

Thanks...There's a ray of hope & its getting better. We have kind of a rocky relationship. I dont want to say much as this is personal but anyways I am thinking about doing that couples classes before we get married lolz... btw, I would never deport her.. I love her so much :crying: I was very upset wheneva I asked you guys about how to cancel her visa but now all the anger inside me is gone. Wish me luck guys  Shaadi kerna koi easy baat nahi hai. This is a big giant step I am taking :bonk::help::wacko:

No western has ever come close to this one....and no western ever will.

Hey Saran if I were you, I would call DOS  I read your interview experience & it looks like you guys were approved but CO wanted a joint sponsor rite? Call DOS or write an email to Embassy... ask them to give you an update on your case. Goodluck

Hi SIBTAIN

I am hoping he does get his visa this month. It is 7 months since his interview so we are at the average time for AP. I know it can go longer but I am hoping it comes this month. I broke my ankle at work last week, so now I am at home in a cast. Waheed is so upset that he cannot be here right now cause I am injured. But I am doing ok. My kids are taking very good care of me. This would be a good time for Waheed to come so I can stay at home with him and not work when he first comes. So pray for us. :luv: Keep us updated if you hear anything with your case.

peace

Kris,

Sorry to hear about the broken ankle and it sure would be nice if Waheed was able to come while you are at home recuperating.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

I called Islamabad today and they told me they sent an interview letter to my fiancee and her interview date is march 30th. So tell me do I need to send her something that she will need at embassy? I am very happy that this has finally come close. I hope she gets her visa in hand on interview day.
