~Dream~Love~,

His packet did come by regular post. Now things may have changed since our time in Islamabad. Post your question here in this forum and hopefully some of the newer posters will be able to tell you a more updated time. But it was taking a few weeks in the past.

Our interview was 01-26-09. My husband woke up bright and early and went to the embassy! He got there 4 hours early and he was told to wait. He got to his officer for the interview finally and was very nervous. (I did not go with him to the interview, I am still in the USA). At any rate they asked him over 30 questions. 1. How long did you know your wife before you met her? 2. What is your wife's full name? 3. Why do you love your wife and why did you want to marry an American? 4. What made you go online to meet a wife to relocate to the USA? 5. Can I see some evidence of your marriage?<-Just to name a few of his questions. The interviewer was an American man with dark hair and he was very stern voiced. He told my husband he was approved and could pick up his visa and passport in a few weeks. So, I guess no AP! :0)

"We met each other by accident, but our love is surely not an accident".

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to get my wife ready for the NVC stage well ahead of time by getting her vaccinations done... There is a list of vaccinations HERE but it is unlikely that my wife will need them all. So, I was wondering if everyone could tell me (specially the females) what vaccinations they asked you to take?

Thanks!

Oh I also have a couple questions about the DS230, guys.

And if so, what did you guys do about the police certificate? My wife tried and they said you cannot get a police certificate unless you get the letter from the embassy. Does that have to be sent in with the DS230 packet or can we send it in later?

Do I understand this correctly: my wife can send me a filled out DS230 now (besides the signature and the date) plus all the accompanying documents so I can send them in to the NVC from the US? I searched a lot but I couldn't find what documents exactly need to be submitted with the DS-230 packet. Also did you send certified translation of the birth and marriage certificates, or the originals?
