Yes I did but it doesn't mention anything about B2 visa, so that's why I'm confused, I have friend of mine in the same situacion and she already have the green card, but she paid attorney, in my case I don't have the money for the attorney that's why I'm trying to do it myself but I don't know how to filed out the I485 because there is no place to mark in this form saying something about this visa, but if you know about it please let me know..

Thanks.

A B2 visa is a tourist visa. The link I gave you is the step by step guide for filing for AOS from any visa other than K1 or K3. If you dont want to use a lawyer to help you then you need to read read and read the forms and instructions for each one.

You say you came on a B2 visa but you dont say when you arrived or when you decided to get married. You need to be careful that you are not committing visa fraud, by entering the US with the intent to remain and file for AOS. You will need to have proof that you did intent to return to your home country at the end of your visit.

I would recommend anyone in your situation to have a meeting with a immigration lawyer to make sure there is nothing in your case that will cause you issues further down the immigration road.

You cannot apply for a greencard without the assistance of your USC wife filing a petition .... you need to educate yourself, read read and read... Many people here can help you but they cannot do it for you... This will take an investment of time to do it yourself

YMMV

I came here with tourist visa 10 years ago, 9 years after I got married so I didn't use the visa for married porpouse, but I'm here to educated myself and understanding how is the process, I believe that is something really complicated so you can't screw around my vision it was to do it w/out attorney if I can but I'm thinking about it, any way I willing to heard opinion so thanks you guys for taking the time and give heads up... If you know any other link I really appreciated

You have a few hurdles to overcome, one being illegal in your overstay. They may consider your marriage a ploy to simply stay in the US.

You also managed to work without a SSN or work permit for 10 years?

I would recommend you find a lawyer, you don't have alot of wiggle room in your case. Good Luck!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Xiocepo, read my timeline. My wife and I met here in the USA, she was on a B-2 visa. When she came here, her intent was nothing more than tourism.

I think we'll be ok. And I think you'll be OK. Goodluck
