J-1 Visa 2-Year Waiver....... I need a timeline PLEASE!!!

Whats-up Everyone, I need some help. I am hear on a J-1 visa and I see I have a 2 year home res. ####### on it. I filled out everything online and I mailed it out. I even hand delivered some Doc. to my embassy in Washington D.C ( I live in Washington D.C). The NOS from my country was sent to the DOS and now I am waiting. Can anyone tell me how long this takes from personal exp.???? Thank-you

It varies- they got my NOS on September 22nd and I got the favorable recommendation online the same day and it was also forwarded to USCIS on that day (busy day, I guess). I got final approval from USCIS on Oct. 9th.

BTW- I had first applied in May, but my home government took all that time to send them the NOS.
