OMG - my mother in law is here and she brought maizena and dulce de leche to make alfajores de maizena. :dance::dance::dance: Plus, she is marinating the meat right now to make empanadas arabes tomorrow night. woohoo! She already made a pionono 3 days ago and last night we had milanesa de carne. I swear it has been a feast around here. :whistle:

Laura - Milanesa de carne is round steak cut thin - my MIL marinates it in cumin, lemon juice, garlic, a little bit of salt and pepper. She dredges the steak in an egg wash and then breadcrumbs with parsley, and fries it to a golden brown. <Salivating>

@vi: sorry to hear she still couldn't come home. soon (F) glad to hear your belly is shrinking :P i cant forget to check VJ at home tonight, cuz images are blocked here.

I had my 36 weeks appointment. i'm not even 1 cm dilated. The baby has dropped, he's weighing around 6 lbs, he's supposed to gain another 1.5 by his birth and be an average 7.5 lbs baby. If he doesn't decide to come early, he'll be born on 4/13 at 1030 :D

oh, and apparently i gained 5 lbs in 7 days lol. My doctor said that's impossible and i am probably retaining water, plus TMI -

pooping

only twice a week doesn't help.

lol sorry Nessa but that made me laugh out loud when i read it, i remember i was like that with Dylan, VERY uncomfortable!
