Hey everybody! I have been away for a while. Daniel came home for 2 weeks on March 16th and.... The big news is - baby Aditya was born on March 18th at 0502 pm, 7lbs 11oz, 19.5 inches after 23 long hours of labor, epidural not working on the left side of my body, a 3rd degree laceration and forceps because he was pretty big for me and got jaundiced because of the birth stress :(

:luv::luv: Its all worth it in the end though and we both are recovering fine. He goes for his pediatrician's appointment tomorrow. I am going to upload his pics in a bit once I am done feeding and pumping the rest :)

Awwww wonderful, and so glad Daniel could be there and will have almost two weeks with you and Aditya! Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing his pictures. :)

I've been very busy, Sofi still at the hospital :crying: , she is doing well, great size and weight but she still a apremie and they need to continue monitoring her,yesterday I was a little worried 'cause she was under the light but the nurses told me that is normal for a premie not to worry about it.

I'm going to the hospital twice a day, to breastfeed and to leave some milk, at 11am and with Sil at night it's killing me to leave her there I know that is good for her but still, I can't wait to bring her home. :star: .

My Mom couldn't make it for the delivery, she was in a plane at that time, she arrived at 2am, it's awesome to have her here, she is being great help and is so happy with Sofia. Well I'm having a few more days to get everything ready before she comes home.

Vi, glad your mom arrived safe and sound and can spend this special time with your family. I hope Sofi will get to come home with you all real soon.

@ twila: great news :)

@ caro: i can't see the pics. on my 10 weeks appointment i had gained 0, then at 15 weeks i was up 12.2. but that was right after my trip to brazil and i was eating like a pig, some of that might've been water weight.

@vi: cant see your pics either, i think they're blocked here at work. Soon you'll have your baby with you at home and everything will be fine (F)

With Adam at 15 weeks I had gained about 7lbs (went up to 50lbs) with Allie at 15 weeks...I think it was around 4lbs or so (I gained 30lbs with her all together).

how do you remember all this stuff??? I don't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning... :lol:

@caro: awww what a cute belly! You will not believe how fast time will fly and you hold your baby!

@Parul: congrats! Can't wait to see a picture!!

@Vi: sorry Sofia is still in the hospital. I'm sure she will come home soon. A lot of preemies have jaundice and need phototherapy. Make sure you get some rest too!!

Okay mommies, I need advice. Declan has really not been drinking a lot of liquids lately at all. Especially at daycare. Daycare talked to me about this a couple weeks ago. He was sick all last week and the doctor said that was why he wasn't drinking. However, he is better now and today daycare told me he refused the bottle again each time it was offered. He's been doing that at home too. We've tried the sippy cup and he loves holding it and playing, but only takes a couple sips from it. He knows how to, just doesn't seem interested in drinking. We've tried juice too, not just formula, with similar results. Eating is not a problem, he scarfs everything down. Daycare said the same. It is just the drinking. I'm going to call the doctor for suggestions tomorrow, but I was hoping some mommies might have faced this situation before.
