Yes, the us did not look good to the time frame, but they did not seem as alarm as I was. I misscarried yesterday.

I am doing ok, very emotional about everything.

@ Mrs Jibowu: Did you go to the doctor? any news?

@ Laura: We got pregnant on the first try too. But I wasn't on the pill, just natural planning.

Saludos,

Caro

MrsJibowu: I am so sorry for your loss. (F)

@Caro: no pre-conditions. My ob/gyn was contemplating as c-section because I am rather thin and the baby measured kind of big on the last ultrasound (4 days before my due date). I went into labor that same day, so I had him natural but he got stuck after I pushed for 2.5 hours. One of the nurses sat on my belly to push him out. I couldn't even breath she was so heavy and brutal. I guess this was what broke my bones. Don't worry though, my doctor said there is only a 1:30.000 incidence that this will happen. He has only seen it twice in 15 years.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they had diagnosed it. But they kept kicking me out of bed and told me I had to walk when I couldn't even wiggle my toes or sit up in bed.

My lesson learned is that you have to be your own advocate. You have to educate yourself on everything medical related to yourself and baby and if something doesn't feel right then it probably isn't right.

@Stina: haha we are thinking the same thing. No way we can have another one anytime soon. We love Ben to death, but he isn't sleeping either (he wakes up 4-5 times a night) I guess we are going to have more eventually, to justify the enorme baby gear expenses (LOL) and hubby kind of misses my postpartum boobs but we decided to get some sleep first and wait 2-3 years. :P

@Zaid: awwww he is sooo cute! Yay for spring weather!! Ben loves going to the park too. I had to push him on the swing until he puked yesterday.

@ chnst: That hospital was just outrageous!!!! How is Ben doing? Any news on the appointment or his condition?

Woaaa I'm concerned for my milk. Jona nurses so much currently and I constantly feel empty. I'm drinking a lot, but if it doesn't get better, I'll call my lactation consultant tomorrow. Just so worried! I don't want to stop nursing anytime soon!!!!

It's not uncommon, usually women gain control back though within a couple of months. Doing Kegels will help. My sister in law still can't stop peeing once she starts (her daughter is 2 years old now). It's not a biggy as it's not incontinence - she can hold it in, just once she's on the toilet, she can't stop it.

@raymaga: I have heard of this when he woman had a fourth degree cut or tear during labor. The nerve tissue responsible for manipulating the muscle is injured and not working. In this case I would consult the ob/gyn.

It is common to have slight trouble with peeing after childbirth, it should go away after a few days though.

@Chrissy: hope you feel better soon!
