Ok Hello Ladies and gents if there are any. My name is Loria and hopefully I will be on this post more often. I have a question I have taken 3 first response pregnancy tests and the are all positive but the second result line is very faint on all three. I am getting very excited but am also very nervous because I dont want to be dissapointed later. Has this ever happened to anyone???

The first test I took had such a faint positive line that I didn't think it was positive at all. I was disappointed, putting everything away and noticed a very, very faint line. The next test also had a very faint line. The next day, I took a digital test that read "positive," and when I took more tests in the next few days, the lines were darker.

Take a digital test if it will reassure you, but sounds like congratulations are in order! :luv:

can u imagine losing 50? it would be my dream.

I lost 50 or 55 after having my twins. They weighed 14 pounds 4 ounces combined. I had only lost 20 when I weighed myself 5 days after having them, but I was retaining crazy amounts of water. I remember dropping what seemed like 15 pounds overnight when I finally noticed that my ankles had reappeared. The water retention was AWFUL. My baggy pants were skin tight on me.

So at my 6 week appointment I weighed 10 pounds less than I did when I became pregnant. Love breastfeeding for the weight loss!

Hey there!

Monday March 2 @ 16:07 our son Ryker Johannes is born!

He was 6lbs. 9oz. 19 inches

Delivery didn't really go as wanted so I ended up having a C-section.

I was in labor for 10 hours and pushing for 4 hours. I was exhausted and the baby wasn't in the right position so the doctor asked me if I wanted to have a c-section. i didn't have to think twice about it!

Today we took him to the beach for the first time!

BTW I thought 2.5 hours of pushing with Jona was much, but that's just what the obgyns want you to believe cause they want this to be over to return to the golf course ;). When my MIL had her kids, pushing up to 5 hours for a first time mom was never considered weird, but normal! Anyways, I found pushing to be such a piece of cake compared to labor. I know everyone experiences labor differently. Can't wait to her DH's cousin's story.

pfff easy for you to say with your tiny 5lbs baby, Missy. Try to push out a 9lbs kid next time and we talk again.

@Darkhorse: congratulations to your beautiful baby! :star: What a cutie he is! I wish you a speedy recovery! You guys are such a cute family.

@autum: why was Declan away from you for a week?

I missed out on a lot here, I went back to school full time and there are just never enough hours in a day anymore to keep up....

@Zaids& Ayman's Mommies: how are your boys doing? I can't believe our kids will be 1 year next month!! Are you planning a birthday party? We just realized today that we should send out invitations soon... I don't know if I am ready for the toddler stage yet. All of a sudden Ben has this personality and he knows exactly what he wants and how to manipulate us.

@ Darkhorse - Congratulations! He is absolutely beautiful.

@ Chnst - I missed you! So glad to see you back here. Are you studying nursing or something different? My husband took Declan to visit his family in Canada for a week. I had no vacation time and couldn't go :(

I know everybody loves to talk about birthing horror stories, but for you first time mom's to be, just know that it's not always bad. With my first I was in labor for 6 hours, pushing wasn't that long. I wasn't looking at the clock but I'd say maybe 20 minutes? Second child I was in labor for less than 3 hours and that baby was out in like 10 minutes. The doctor was still getting his scrubs on! LOL. I had natural child birth with both. So while childbirth can be terrible, it can also be great. I recommend doing Kegal exercises to get ready for the pushing. The only thing nobody told me about, which was a surprise to me, is that with the first baby, I could feel the tissues in my ####### ripping. It was quite off-putting at first, and I almost stopped pushing because of it. But I realized I didn't really have a choice! I didn't feel that with the second one.
