Currently at home and getting very irregular contractions still. Membranes are intact and water hasn't broken yet. Still trying to hang on until after Saturday for my bBaby Shower, my gf's are all cheering me on to hold out till after the shower right now. DH is in major panic mode

I hope the wait isn't too stressful and that you enjoy your shower!

My goodness Anna!! Jona is almost 24 lbs??? Zaid is 10 months old and 22lbs. I thought he was chunky, lol. Im right with Ev, the chunkier the better. Jona couldnt be cuter!!

Ev, They did break my water at 8cm and I still had 4 hours to go after that. I had such a LOOOOONG labor. Good to hear Adam and Allie are nice and healthy!!

Where has Kaylas mommy been? and Jalyns mom? the baby crew when zaid was born rarely comes around anymore!!

Carrie <<<hugs>>> I miss seeing ya here!!

Zaid is really growing up fast. He is almost walking, eating table foods, repeating words and taking commands. He ihas started this new thing throwing tantrums and does this "growl" thing when he gets upset. It just showed up one day, I hope it disappears soon.

I'm still around. I just don't have as much time anymore to reply to everyone since being at home fulltime now. Ayman has been demanding 100% of my attention. I don't know how you other SAHMs do it....

Now I'm just getting ready for our big trip to Morocco. It's going to be an eye opener.

Hope everyone here is doing well. Congrats to all the new mommies and mommies to be.

Hey all! I went to my doctors today - my OB and the neonatalogist. All is well with both baby and me. My OB said that he will induce me the week of March 25 - so three weeks from tomorrow. OB said that he wants to take me at 37 or 38 weeks because he said diabetic women are prone to having stillborn babies if they go too far - which I definitely don't want to happen. I can't wait to be done with the pregnancy.

wow Staashi! That's big news! I'll be standing by..I'm feeling nervous for you girl!

Saludos,

Caro

Your babies are beautiful. We are hoping for twins too. Ok I am hoping for twins, since I want a girl , my son wants a boy and my husband wants a boy and a girl. I only want to do this one more time at my ripe age of 41. Does it run in your family?

Just thought I would pop in. I have had family in town since last week. The babies both started sleeping through most of the night on Thursday! Yay babies! It's hard to believe they will be 7 weeks old tomorrow!

I read about someone having placenta previa. I had a partial placenta previa that resolved itself around 20 weeks. It is pretty common. Just follow your doc's recommendations.

Hmm that could go either way, I guess. Maybe the family will distract Ayman so you can get some rest and catch up on a good book or something else you enjoy doing. Does he travel well?

I'm feeling pretty good, but very tired all the time, which I didn't expect in the second trimester, and I think it's time to look for some extra pillows to help me sleep. No spotting since last Friday, thank goodness :)

I had to share this with you ladies:

I just learned that my husband posted pictures on Flickr .... of me giving birth!!! He is SOOOO lucky he is in Canada right now and I am in NH. Grrrr! He swears no one has seen them, but I am skeptical, because the purpose for the Flickr posting was so he could share photos of our family with his family in Canada. I'm sure he linked them to the site.

BTW, they are now deleted. When I confronted hubby, he swore that I had approved of all the pics. Then, when I pointed out the specific ones, all he could say was .... whoops!

Men!!! :bonk:

Yeah, I'm excited. I am so tired right now and hurting that knowing I have less than 21 days is excellent. I think I might even have the dr put me on bedrest for the last week because it is just getting so hard to do anything.

autumnchick@ I was laugghing reading your message, did your hubby did what??? men, men, men  .

Yesterday I had a cool conversation with Sil, we were talking about how used we are to be just Silvio and Vi and now is going to be Sil, Vi and Sofia, then I opened my email and found lots of emails from friends and family telling me how excited they are about our baby, giving us advices, and etc and then we got our first gift from the baby shower, the travel system stroller and the it hit me hard, I'm having a baby next month!!!! I'm going to be a mommy and to be honest it's a bit overwhelming.

How do I know that I'm going to be a good mom?? I'm definitely going to miss to have my mom with me all the time to help me raising my child  . I hope this is not an early sign of post partum depression.

have a good night girls...

Hi mommies!!

We toured Austin Birthing Center yesterday and we loved it!! The staff is so nice and wonderful, the place just irradiates tranquility, and the birthing rooms are so beautiful! The rooms have a water tub for like a water birth except the smaller one which has just a regular bathtub but they are installing a water tub soon. It was an hour tour total, which included half an hour with a midwife who answered our ton of questions. Justin and I were very impressed with everything and we have decided we want them to be our care givers

Here's the link to the center: AustinABC

Saludos,

Caro
