He's 34 inches tall and weighs 31 pounds. His head is huge too, but I haven't measured it recently. I have to stretch sweater and t-shirt openings big time with my hands and it barely fits over his head... The 2T jammies are getting too short. But he wears cloth diapers under all his pants, which adds a little bulk. It's all proportional and hubbie was the same... He really leaned out recently and I think hubbie did around 3-4.

Mommies!

I´m here, still in Peru and having a great time. We spent this weekend at the beach,Sofia adores the water, the pool, the sea, the bathtub. You can see some pics on my fb. Hubby asked me if I want to stay an extra week in Peru and of course I do but I checked the penalty I have to pay and to be honest is a little high so I decided that I´m just going to go back to NYC on the original date :crying: .

My parents are spoiling me big time, they are taking great care of me and the baby, I´m a little nervous/afraid/concerned about what is going to happen at th airport next Saturday, I need to buy alot of Klennex for that day, just to think about it makes me sad :crying: .

@ Caro: He sure looks happy though! A lot happier than my nephew in May. He was not a happy camper and Jona slept through the whole thing on my dad's shoulder (nephew's baptism). Jona isn't baptized yet, hubbie doesn't want it til he can decide for himself. So we'll see how that goes.

@ autumn: I hope Declan gets better soon. Poor little guy.

Has anyone of you seen Food, Inc? I nearly puked. I'm glad I don't eat chicken. I'm glad I buy as many things natural as I can afford. I had to cry when the story about the little boy was told who died from a Jack in the box burger. I definitely will never let my kids go to a fast food junk place like that ever. They can go there with their own earned money, not with mine. The little boy died because the ground beef was full of e.coli bacteria. Apparently, ground beef is full of that all the time which is why they started washing it with ammonia (remember, recent scandal when it became public, like 2 weeks ago). That's so gross and unhealthy!!! I certainly don't want ammonia nor e.coli in my food. Worse was how chickens are held by Tyson. OMG. No wonder e.coli, anitbiotics, mad cow disease and such are thriving. Puke puke puke. I just think everyone should see this, it is eye opening. It's on instant watching on Netflix.

So maybe thats why they went out of business in NY. I have to admit I kinda missed taco tuesdays for a while.

Once in a while the boys get to eat a happy meal but not often. Our big takeout thing is pizza - and not that dominos or pizza hut ####### either. We have real Italian-owned pizzerias in NY.

My dad had e-coli poisoning once, he was admitted to the hospital because he was extremely ill due to his diabetes and they discovered it while doing bloodwork, he was having kidney failure and liver failure at the same time. The doc said the e-coli only affected him and not everyone else that ate with him because of his compromised immune system. We still don't know where it came from

Congrats Anya!

I knew I was having a boy, despite the fact that I had my heart set on a girl. I remember telling my hubby when I was around 3 months that I just knew it was a boy. It was strange that I was so sure...hehe... I was sorting through some clothes and found one of the first things I bought while preggers (a bib that says: my little prince). I look at him now and am in awe of how much he has grown. Being a mom has turned me into a huge sap...

Poor Zak! I picked him up from the babysitter today and he was not his usual self. He was all curled up with her on the couch. He wouldn't let me put him down for more than 5 minutes this evening. I took his temp right before putting him to bed and it was 102. :( He was coughing and sneezing a little tonight. :(

I hope all the sick kiddos feel better soon!!! :(

I saw Food, Inc. I was expecting it to be worse than it was actually, so I wasn't as disgusted and I thought I would be. It did make me want to change some eating habits, or at least try to. But I have still eaten some fast food since watching it. hehe. Hard to avoid sometimes! ;)

Anya congrats on finding out it's a boy!

I also had dreams about having a boy before I was pregnant, and then after I was pregnant too until we found out for sure. I just felt like it was a boy and imagined a baby boy in my arms, though I didn't say it too much to people because I didn't want them to think I preferred a boy- of course I would have been happy with either a boy or girl. :) But I just knew knew knew it was a boy! And he was!! :D It's an amazing thing.

Yesterday(Sunday) we celebrated Kavi's 2nd birthday(early) because family was in town. :) It was fun! Here's a shot from the day.
