I am packing Declan's things because he and daddy are leaving tomorrow for Canada. I am getting really sad and teary while packing because I am going to miss them soooo much. I've never been away from my baby

ladies, did anyone when they were pregnant, or the pregnant ladies now, find they little one more active in the belly at night? she seems to go nuts when i go to bed and am just falling asleep

@ Carol Anne - I was thinking it might be PP...I know it's inconvenient and a little alarming, but you're fine and the baby's fine and that's all that matters.

@ Chrissy: I've heard that it is normal for the baby to be active while you sleep...mine isn't and everyone says that has been too weird. But it sure makes sleeping easier.

@Staashi: Maybe you just don't feel baby be moving. Usually they move when mama is asleep. I hardly felt my babes at night but DH sure did complain about a lot of kicking . Maybe you just have a very laid back baby.

@autumnchick: I know how you feel. Try to enjoy the alone time. I miss my kids after only a few hours, I can't imagine being away from them for days. Hugs mama. You'll get through it.

Quick update, as of this morning I am 1cm dilated and 30% effaced. LO is head down and engage, not long now!

@Staashi: Maybe you just don't feel baby be moving. Usually they move when mama is asleep. I hardly felt my babes at night but DH sure did complain about a lot of kicking . Maybe you just have a very laid back baby.

Actually, I do. I'm up about 4 - 5 times a night and never feel him move - unless there is a noise that startles him. About 45 minutes to an hour and a half after I eat breakfast he'll wake up and start moving. I can honestly speak from experience with this as I have twice weekly U/S now and each time they have to make sure I've eaten something or the baby will just be chilling out in there...hardly doing a thing. We've all gotten to know his mannerisms well. Dr says he's uber healthy...just on his own schedule.

Good for you. Maybe baby will keep doing what he's doing and sleep through the night right away. I heard it does happen (just not to me, haha). I'm excited to see your little man soon.

My granddaughter Amber, had to go to the clinic last Tuesday for booster shots, then came down with a bad cold in that germ infected place. Poor little thing is miserable.

But that is not the only germ infected place, was as healthy as can be until my kids were old enough to go to school, then brought home every disease known to mankind. Believe there is something like 256 different cold virus's and had all of them already, maybe I am finally immune.

Nature is cruel, poor baby, doesn't even know how to blow her nose.

NickD, ever since my son started 'children's day out' he's been sick. Except for one week during Christmas, he was ok then but other than that, he brings home stomach bugs, bronchiolitis and runny noses like crazy.

well last night i went to bed, hadent felt baby too much....poked my belly a little, nothing. so hubby and i are getting concerned, keep poking nothing. well eventually she kicked back....she must have been in some kind of deep sleep!
